The Mastodon Dinozord was used by the second-in-command the Black Ranger. The Mastodon had the ability to freeze opponents in ice by firing extremely cold blasts from its tusk. This zord was stored in Antartica. The Mastodon formed the back and arms of the Dino MegaZord, as well as the back and arms for the MegaDragonZord. Also in the Dino MegaZord Tank Mode the Mastodon acted as the main cannons. After a big fight the zords must rest at least twelve hours before another one, so they can repair themselves. The Mastodon was upgraded by Zordon to become the Lion Thunder Zord.
