The Red Dragon ThunderZord was created when Zordon upgraded the Tyrannosaurus DinoZord with the power of thunder. The Red Dragon ThunderZord is capable of flight in either of its configurations. While in Dragon mode the Red Dragon ThunderZord could shoot long jets of fire from its mouth. But in its main formation was initiated in Battle Mode where it could fight in hand to hand combat as well as fight with a staff. It also could mount the White Tiger ThunderZord and ride it into battle. In battle the Red Dragon could ride in a sled created by the rest of the ThunderZords with or without the other Power Rangers piloting them. When in battle mode, the Red Dragon could hide inside Tor, the Shuttle Zord for protection from harm. The Red Dragon formed the basic structure as well as the internal components of the Thunder MegaZord. The Red Dragon ThunderZord was destroyed along with the other ThunderZords by Rito Revolto.
