Untitled Poem

Untitled Poem

He says the time has come,
You see,
The day is done,
And in all our fun,
The shadows of this relm,
have but begun.

He steps aside,
To look in my eyes,
And smiles at the darkness he finds inside.
Because laughter and pain,
Are all apart of his game,
And in the end,
You shall find that friend,
That picks you up,
And drops you quick,
And brings you to your knees.

He says they will come,
When the light subsides,
And all good on earth is to expire.
And love and pain feed his flames,
All in hell's fire.

The day is done,
The sun shall set,
And we shall arise,
From the dark inside,
And to no longer hide.
