First I sas dying to finish high school and start college.
And then I was dying to finish college and start working.
And then I was dying to marry and have children.
And then I was dying for my children
to grow old enough for school
so I could return to work.
And then I was dying to retire.
And now, I am dying ..... and
suddenly I realize I forget to live.

When I retired, my wife and I came north
to see our 2 years old grand-daughter Noelle (¤pµ×).
I played hide-and-seek with her.
She was so determined she preferred to wet her pant
not to come out from hiding
even when her mom was calling loudly.

Everytime came back from shopping,
I intentionally missed the house door,
she was always chasing after me
and yelled "Here ! Here ! "
to drag the lost old man home.

A few years later,
we moved retirement home close to her
to spend precious time with her,
I got only 9 months, stroke striked me!

Noelle just started her schooling,
One day after school Nancy (ªYªY) brought her
to hospital to see grandpa.
"Grandpa, how lucky you are!
you got this nice bed and
TV is on the ceiling!
and all these, ..... ."
and climb up to my bed immediately.
"You think this is lucky ?"
the nurse surprised and looked at her.
"She is cute,"
the nurse smiled and walked out.

One day her friends Chelsa and Irene
came to play with her,

"Grandpa forgot how to walk all in a sudden !"

she whispered to them.
Three kids all felt sorry deeply,
shocked.
All stared at me, and keep silently quiet.

I just know
"My right foot and hand can no longer move."
But,
Noelle can tell
THE TRUTH OF LIFE.
And kids all know it well
