Welcome to my PRIDE Page! AS you can tell from the rest of the content on my pages, I am a lesbian, and I have been married to my wife for a little over a year and a half now. I came out my senior year of high school, bringing down upon my head all the wrath and homophobia a small Amabama town can give. Death threats, harrassment, etc...you know the drill. I have been called just about every derogatory name in the book. My mother, of course, pretending to be the wonderful nurturer that she has always wrongly pictured herself as, accepted it at first and then proceeded to make herself a bigger bitch than she already was in my eyes...to sum up, it's been a veritable hell.
Anyway, I have been meaning to create this page for quite some time now, but have just never gotten around to it. It isn't much right now, but I'm working on it. If you have any suggestions or links that you'd like to offer or just want to talk, feel free to email me at faerie_willow@yahoo.com.
October is Gay History Month.
Monday October the 11th is NATIONAL COMING OUT DAY.
December 1 is World Aids Day.
For anyone in the Tallahassee, Florida area, Big Bend Cares is sponsoring a program called Big Bend Care Bears. For a donation of $25, a teddy bear complete with little red ribbon is given to an HIV/AIDS child. Please give if you can.
