We Can Just Be Only Friends
Smirking faces with cunning looks,
Truth uncovered in an opened book,
Feeling like a betrayed slave,
Hearing your words like a raging wave.
Haunting this daunted soul with teases,
Slicing up this heart in pieces,
With your sharpened blade of lies,
Slashing my dreams before my eyes.
Why did you put on your disguise?
When you know for sure that I will cry,
Colorful stories that you have told,
Has turned out to be very cold.
And now you contradict yourself,
By flaring up the flaming hell,
Telling me that we must end,
And we can be just only friends
