Man on Passionless Land
A misty night,
All seems vague and faint under the starlight.
A song unsung,
Tones and melodies that went unstrung.
A padlocked gate,
Lost keys irredeemable by fate.
A faded rose,
Dried and withered in the winter that froze.
A hurtful smile,
And I see the teary dawn stretches mile after mile.
A shattered dream,
I kneel and crawl at the devastation's brim.
A broken heart,
A tormented love that is forcefully torn apart.
A lifeless man,
Dreary and lonesome on this passionless land.
