On the hill afar, the moonlit stares,
Where sparrows glide, and the eagles dare,
Lies a dream, that's always there,
A heart so true, a heart that cares.
Restless nights, without a light,
Empty soul, when you're not in sight,
Lies a hope, that seems so bright,
Think of you, and I will sigh.
Days have come, and nights have gone,
Heartful wishes, on New Year's morn,
Be my love, on this fine, new dawn,
And sorrows of the heart, will be forlorn.
