Once Again

Miles away in a foreign land,
Lies a weary, lonesome man,
With a pair of fatigued eyes,
And a palm as cold as ice.

Deceptive visions filled his mind,
As he ponders upon the shrine,
Longing for his beloved dame,
In the wind, he calls her name.

His arm stretches into the sky,
Reaching for the cloud, so high,
Stroking at the gusting air,
Thinking that his dame was there.

Miles and miles, they are apart,
Voices unheard and feelings thwart,
Day and night, he solemnly prays,
Their eyes will meet on some fine day.

The lonely man hums out a song,
On the sidewalks of Hong Kong,
With a yearn inside his brain,
To see his fair dame, once again.
