When Forces Collide
Scenes,
Of ruins and demolished walls,
Which were once standing tall,
A city destined to crumble and fall.
Cries,
Of a woman in despair sorrow,
Over a corpse with no tomorrow,
A tragedy where life is borrowed.
Blasts,
Of merciless bombs on this land,
That destroys the hopes of man,
Leaving traceless rusts on the sand.
Wars,
Of the people with a heart of hate,
Conquering the foe's neighboring state,
Rewriting the innocent's life and fate.
Stop,
The endless killings on the battlefield,
Don't we care and don't we feel?
For the losses that may never heal.
Love,
Never let your heart be petrified,
For this earth is intensely uglified,
When the arms and forces collide.
