Joseph J. Ripley Jr.
Below is a picture of my dad holding me when I was about 3 years old. He passed away of stomach cancer exactly 6 days after my birthday on April 14, 1966 at Kaiser Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles and was buried in San Diego.
Below is a picture of me taken in summer 1996.
This first picture when I first saw my daughters in summer 1995, a lot of people mistaken them for twins even though Katijo and Jeaudon were born a year apart from each other.
The below picture was taken six months later. Comparing the two you can see how fast they have grown.
Below
is the most recent picture of me. Taken
on February 12, 2003 after I was promoted to the rank of Major, Civil Affairs
in the United States Army Reserves.
Civil Affairs is part of the United States Army Special Operation
Forces.
