My favourite film makers are the fantastic Martin Scorsese, the Coen brothers, Jim Cameron, Kevin Smith, Doug Liman, Oliver Stone, Stanley Kubrick, and for some bizarre reason Paul Verhoeven (must be Starship Troopers)
My favourite actors are Jack Nicholson, Gary Oldman, Clint Eastwood, Samuel L Jackson, Al Pacino, Nicholas Cage (for Leaving Las Vegas), Bobby De Niro and Robert Carlyle (master of accents).
MOVIE NEWS ,First of all Star Wars - George Lucas has plans for 2 more Star Wars movies after The Phantom Menace and won't let anyone else touch them, "It's my thing" he explained. The second film is a romance with Anakin and Queen Amidala getting fresh and part 3 will be the very dark turning of Anakin to the dark side.
The 19th James Bond movie starring Pierce Brosnan as agent 007 is currently titled The World Is Not Enough and will feature Denise Richards as the bond girl and Robert Carlyle(Trainspotting, The Full Monty) as the head bad guy.
Terminator 3. Long in the pipeline Arnold Schwarzenegger has agreed to return as the cyborg hell bent on mass destruction and wooden acting. The full script is now written. Cameron will not direct. But they will link up for True Lies 2. Make an original film for God's sake.
Blair Witch Project is set for a UK release soon after being shelved until Halloween. All the hype surrounding it's release in America made it a smash hit and now the UK is ready to experience it.
Dogma is in post production. All you wonderful Kevin Smith fans like I eagerly anticipate the release of his 4th movie.
Two angels played by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck have to get back into heaven. Jay and Silent Bob have to save humanity.
Should be superb. Smith calls it his best work. I can't wait.
Beavis and Butthead 2, Buffy the Vampire Slayer 2(with Sarah Michelle Gellar), Jan De Bont's second watery film (after Speed 2) The Boat, Star Trek part 10, Invisible man film The Hollow Man(directed by Starship Troopers Paul Verhoeven) are all headed for production.
