From the divan on which he lay, misty layers of fog floated past him. Whiffs of jasmine and vanilla tickled his nose, tasting his senses, and coming back for more.
"H-hello?" His voice crackled and stuttered, lost in the sea of white lavender that enveloped him.
But the only answer was musical silence, notes dancing on the waves of warmth tinting his icy skin. He turned lightly, his bare shoulder brushing the transparent layers of gossamer forming a canopy above him.
"Hello? Who's here?" Annoyance building, he fought off the waves of murky pleasure forcing his eyes into a sleepy trance. He stood, wisps of silk dropping to the floor, his naked body gleaming gently in the shallow light. But before he could move a step, hot hands pushed him forcefully back onto the sofa. It was only seconds before a veil of pale blur dropped over his vision. He barely saw nails, bright red, scraping over his chest. He barely felt soft hair brush against his skin.
He barely heard the gentle whisper, wafting to his ear... "Sit still, lover."
Searing lips pressed against cool flesh, hair titian like a fire burning rustling delicately, gently over his nipples. He couldn't see her face. He could barely see the air in front of him. The rolling tides of heat rushing through him sent his skin into shivers.
He hadn't felt the sensation of goose bumps in a couple of lifetimes.
As teeth scraped skin and breath warmed ice, the burning in his groin compelled him to take action. Grabbing the unseen shoulders of the seducer, he barked out a hoarse cry.
As her green, innocent eyes met his, his breath caught.
The red headed witch who tried to help him.
....
Spike woke up in a cold sweat.
