Ziege talks with Hoddle

23 JUNE 2001:

Christian Ziege has revealed on his website that he has had talks with Glenn Hoddle over a proposed move to Tottenham Hotspur. 

He said: "I have had a very pleasant discussion with Tottenham team manager Glenn Hoddle, who has declared his interest in me."

and ended of saying: "That doesn't mean that I am signing for Spurs though as I have had two other, very interesting, offers. I will check these out with my agent. So far, there is nothing sorted out, no matter what the papers say."
