Remembrance.................
Never has April Fool been so gloomy . On 1st of April, 2003, April Fool's day was marked by the death of a superstar..........our beloved Leslie Cheung.
I'm not a die hard fan of Leslie Cheung, but his death had caused much grief than I had expected. No one would ever know the reason behind his suicide, the mystery will not be solve, just like the mysterious charisma that he exudes on stage.
Most of us grown up listening to his song, watching his movie....hence no matter how uninterested you are about him, you're bound to feel the loss that all the fans felt.....why did he leave us?
Watching the cover stories by various TV station, we can see what kind magnetism he has.......thousands of fans waited outside the Memorial Service Building to see pay him the last respect despite the SARS and the ongoing war. Somehow, everyone is united as one and they do not care if you are a Muslim/American, or you are infected with SARS or not.....they just stay together to send him off for the last time.
Seing his long time boyfriend, Mr Tong, crying and weak.........when they sent Leslie body to be cremated makes your heart breaks. We can only hope he'll find strength to carry on the unfinished life of Leslie.
