Chocolate Wrappers

Why is chocolate wrapped in silver?
Is it because the shiny wrapper hides the chocolate's dark richness?
Is it because a child sees a shiny object and goes directly to it?
Maybe they made the wrapper shiny and bright
So that you wouldn't suspect a thing
When the chocolate captures you with it's dark, sweet, smooth taste.
It takes over your soul and gives you the most wonderful sensation.
And for a breathe moment in time
You find yourself lost in the chocolate's sweetness.
Then the chocolate is swallowed.
All that's left is the shiny wrapper to give you happy memories of the delicious treat.
