As I walked along the shoreline
The waves rolled in.
I felt the coolness of the water on my feet
And I felt a joyful sensation
As the grains of sand began slipping away from me.
-leaving behind foot prints,
Footprints that would soon disappear
Just as easily as they appeared
Once the waves rolled in again.
