Ballplayer, someone who is good at playing basketball

Favoring something, thinking the same way

Boo:

A term of endearment, like baby

Boo-yaa:

Totally dope, incredibly fine

Bounce:

To leave, to get up, to break

'Bout It:

Real, not fake

Boy:

Friend, short for "homeboy"

Bug:

To act strange, crazy, weird

-Cha:

You. Ex: "I'm comin' to getcha (get you)"

Cheese/Cheddar:

Money; material wealth

Relax

Creep:

1. To sneak up on someone

2. To be unfaithful in a relationship

Crew:

Group, band

Crib:

Home; Place where one lives

Cruise:

Driving around, preferably showing off your car

Crunk:

Crazy.

Cut:

A record, the latest hit

Dis:

Insult or thwart in a social manner, short for disrespect

DL/Downlow:

Covert, secret

Down With:

To be down with: to be sympathetic to something, or to be friends with someone

Fly:

Attractive, beautiful

Hella:

A hell of a lot

Homeboy/girl:

Close friend

Honey:

Female, generally attractive

Hood:

The neighborhood, usually (but not necessarily) a poor community

Hook-Up:

1. Getting together with someone

2. Acquring something you need through another person

Hooptie:

Old car in bad shape

Hops:

Vertical jump, usually related to basketball

Hottie:

A very attractive female (This word was originated to be used to describe females, but it can also be used to refer to males, too)

Ice:

Diamonds or jewelry with diamonds in it

Steal

Jailbait:

Anybody who is at least five years younger than you are

Jet:

To leave in a hurry

Jheri-curls:

Wetlook, curly hairstyle

Jiggy:

To have a lot of money or riches

Hanging out

Loc:

Term used for local person

Lowriding:

Adjusting the suspension of a car to get it closer to the ground. Since it is illegal to drive that way, people have hydraulic systems to adjust the height of the car while driving, making it bounce

1. Ladies Man

Mad:

Extremely, very, a large quantity

No Diggity:

No doubt, no question

Original gangster

Pad:

House, home, place where you live

Parlaying:

West coast slang for partying or having a good time

Player:

1. Someone who is "true to the game", someone who never sold out

2. A kind of playboy, someone good at picking up honeys

Player Hater:

One who despises or speaks ill of another because he does not have any game of his own

Posse:

A group of people you hang out with

Saying this means that what you are saying is absolutely correct, and you do not have to put up money to prove it, you just say it

Drunk

Wack:

Negative: crazy or weird

Word Up:

1. A question like "What's up?"

2. Some also use the word when agreeing with something or someone.

Y'all:

Short for "you all"
