• Title Transformation 101: Originally announced as "The Hollywood Project," then known as "Simone," Niccol finally went with "S1m0ne."

• Title Tech 101: When the official site went up as "S1m0ne" instead of the previously named "Simone" the CGI fascination became even clearer. The technically-incined see the binary numerals as standing for "Sim-1" as in Simulation One.
