Bharat Sevashram Sangha,one of the most distinguished service organizations of the country,has been involved in the recent dreadful earthquake in the Anjar Tehsil of Kutchh District in Gujarat State.I have had the unique privilege of seeing the dedicated work of Bharat Sevashram Sangha in the areas,which suffered the worst devastation. Sangh's volunteers not only distributed relief materials such as food,blankets, polythene sheets,utensils,they also brought hope and solace to the distressed. Their sustained selfless service has won them the love and respect of people.

On behalf of the Government of Gujarat,I place on record my sense of appreciation and respect for the significant contribution that Bharat Sevashram Sangha made to the relief and rehabilitation efforts in the earthquake devasted areas. I like to add that the people of Anjar Tehsil of Kutchh District will never forget their exemplary services. We look forward to a long and friuitful association with the Bharat Sevashram Sangh,for an extensive reconstruction program in the earthquake affected areas.
