EPISODE 4: Teacher's Pet: Dr. Gregory, the only teacher who likes Buffy is discovered decapitated in a fridge by Cordelia. This brings to Sunnydale a supply teacher called
Natalie French who attracts the attention of all the boys in the class. When Xander is invited over to her house for a school project
things don't go quite in the romantic direction he would like things to go.
Meanwhile Buffy discovers that Dr. Gregory's head was bitten off by a giant
praying mantis, she realises that Ms. French is really a giant praying Mantis, which explains her neck rotating trick and grasshopper sandwiches.
So Buffy rushes to rescue Xander before he is eaten alive.

EPISODE 5: Never kill a boy on the first date: Read about the anointed one from prophecy the Master
hatches a plan to escape from is underground prison. Meanwhile above ground Buffy dusts off another vampire while Giles is in the background
offering advise on her slaying technique, they then discover a ring left behind in the ashes, after some researching Giles determines the ring to be a symbol of the Order of Aurelius.
But Buffy's mind is elsewhere, on dating Owen. Balencing her social life and slaying proves rather awkward especially when Owen nearly gets killed while following after her to the morgue to slay the anointed one.
Realising that Owen will be placed in too much danger she ends her relationship with him, unknown to her the vampire she killed in the morgue is not the anointed one, who is now with the Master underground.

EPISODE 6: The Pack: A field trip to the zoo goes rather odd when Xander and a group of
bullies sneak off into an off-limits hyena house which leaves them possessed by spirits.
Xander's attitude changes, giles dismisses it while Buffy and Willow steer clear of him. Xander and the other possessed bullies act like hyenas and set about eating the school mascot - it's pig.
Suffice to say there is more going on than previously thoght and so buffy locks
Xander away while Giles traces the strange behaviour back to the zoo, where they hatch a plan with the zoo keeper to lead the pack to the hyena house for exorcism. When the zoo keeper reveals his actual plan to transfer the spirit into himself,Buffy helps him get alittle closer to the hyena's than he would like.

EPISODE 7: Angel: The Anointed One has a new plan to free the Master and calls upon the three - a trio of very nasty vampires hell bent on killing the slayer. when they attack Buffy, Anger steps in to help her and after suffering a few cuts and bruises they hide out at Buffy's house, where he spends the night on her bedroom floor.
The relationship between Buffy and Angel develops and they kiss - but Angel's vampire face appears, revealing his bloodsucker links. Extremely annoyed Buffy tells him to get lost, but when one of the Master's minions Darla arrives at Buffy's house and sinks her teeth into her mum framing Angel, the plot deepens. So Buffy goes after Angel
to kill him, but finds out the trith about Darla attacking her mother and Angel's bloody past and the story of the restoration of his soul.

EPISODE 8: I, Robot...You, Jane: Giles' disliking of computers is justified when Moloch, a sweet talking, neck snapping, Nazi loving demon from 1418, finds a new life on the internet. The school's top geeks unwittingly become Moloch's servants, while Willow starts up an online romance with a poet called Malcolm. Concerned that Willow maybe being lead to her death, the gang investigate and discover that
Moloch is using Malcolm as a front. With the help of the computer teacher Jenny Calender,with her help Giles is able to force Moloch off the net, but not before he transfers himself into a metal body.

EPISODE 9: The Puppet Show: When a balllet dancer in the school talent show is murdered, the logical suspect is the ventriloquist, because there just odd. But wnen Morgan the Ventriloquist turns up dead and missing his brain, suspicion turns towards his actual dummy, Sid. When he shows up at Buffy's windowand later admits to trying to kill her, it looks like a closed case. The truth however is different, and that Sid was only trying
to kill Buffy because there's a Demon on the loose and he thought that she was it. If Sid kills the Demon then his soul will be freed from the dummy shell. In fact this particular demon is harvesting organs, so when Buffy discovers that Morgan's brain matter is cancerous, it becomes clear that the demon is after another brain and the brain he has in mind just happens to be in Giles' head.

EPISODE 10: Nightmares: Buffy grows fangs, Giles forgets how to read, Cordelia is having a bad hair day, Willow is singing on stage and Xander is being chased by a daemonic clown - everyone's nightmares are happening in real life. The living nightmares are traced back to a comatose kid called Billy, who was nearly beaten to death after a kiddies league baseball game. So his astral form is now roaming the halls of Sunnydale high issuing warnings.
As the nightmares continue to grow more severe and the embodiement of Billy's fears -the Ugly man-begins attacking students, Buffy convinces him to face his fear to have a chance at beating it. When the real-life source of Billy's terror shows up, Buffy promptly kicks his arse.

EPISODE 11: Out of Mind, Out of Sight: When an invisible tree falls in a forest and nobody hears it, does anyone care? That's the problem facing Marcy Ross who has gone from one of the millions of un-noticed students to one of the few truly invisible girls. She begins to get the attention she has been missing when on the eve of the prom, invisible Marcy starts a violent pattern. To begin with she smacks around Cordelia's date. The next victim is one of Cordelia's friends and then her favourite teacher nearly dies of asphyxiation. While this is going on, two men in black suits appear around the school, and Angel warns Giles that the Master is getting restless again.
Cordelia ends up minutes away from having her face slashed when Buffy turns up to save her and expose the attacker, before the feds cart Marcy off for their own ends...

EPISODE 12: Prophecy Girl: It looks like the 1947 harvest all over again when vampire activity in Sunnydale reaches an all-time high and an earthquake tears through the town. buffy however has bigger problems, like finding a date for the prom, mean while apocalyptic troubles have Giles rather worried. A prophecy says that Buffy is about to face the Master in a battle to the death - and Buffy is destined to lose. Suddenly scared by this and the possibility of dying at 16, she quits. Rather than send Buffy to her death, giles decides to face the Master himself when Buffy reconsiders. armed with only a crossbow and a prom dress, the Anointed One leads her to the Master, and true to the prophecy
Buffy is killed. Down but not out Xander and Angel arrive just in time to resuscitate her, and she picks up where she left off, stronger than ever and hell bent on killing the Master.
