Adam Sandler was born on Sep. 9 1966 in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Manchester, New Hampshire.His first gig in comedy was when his brother encouraged him to go up at a Boston Comedy Club at age 17.AFter that experience he was hooked to comedy.After attending college he earned a spot on the Bill Cosby Show and then was on the caast ofSaturday Night Live in the '90/'91 season.Adam's career expanded more when he got a Grammy nomination for They're All Gonna Laugh At You!The Wedding Singer in which he starred with Drew Barrymore was successful but the Waterboy which was his next movie made more money than any other film than any other movie he's played in.His upcoming movie Big Daddy is coming out this summer which is about a toll booth operator who adopts a kid so his girlfriend thinks he's more mature.
