Rusty Parker is the Band Director of the "Blue Devils". Before coming to Cordova High School and Bankhead Middle School, Mr. Parker taught for 9 years in Cullman County at Cold Springs School and West Point School. Mr. Parker also spent a year in Mobile County and a year in Jefferson County as band director at Satsuma High School and Erwin High. He has judged marching contests in Alabama and Mississippi, jazz competitions in Alabama, and Solo & Ensemble festivals throughout Alabama. He has also written marching drill for award winning bands in north Alabama. This is Mr. Parker's fourth year at Cordova. Mr. Parker's principal instrument is the saxophone.
