Articles Turn off the fear engineers
Scenario OneAs the sun rose this morning, you sat quietly, delighting in the new day. You usually arrange some time in your day to be in tune with your whole self, perhaps through meditation or contemplation or just being in the moment. You feel calm, poised, assured of available energy and resources. You walk into a room. People sense your state of mind. On some level of awareness, they note your words, your tone of voice and your actions. They react to that sometimes consciously, sometimes not. The way they signal their being in the world has changed. Others who meet them are in turn changed. The ripple spiral of positivity spreads. Scenario TwoYou listened to the news on the radio as you had your breakfast and you scanned the headlines on the way to work. You feel suppressed fear, anger, anxiety. You are not sure how long you can "hold it'. You walk into a room. People sense your state of mind. On some level of awareness, they note your words, your tone of voice and your actions. Somebody says something to you. You interpret it through your pre-disposition. You react irritably. Others in turn react to that , sometimes consciously, sometimes not. The way they signal their being in the world has changed. Others who meet them are in turn changed. The jagged spiral of negativity spreads. An overviewSuppose for a moment, that you are a puppeteer of people. Your job is to control people. You send out disturbances - thoughts - words - an overload of sensory impressions, not allowing space between them for processing or for rest. People must be in so much of a hurry to 'get' and to 'become' that they do not appreciate who they are right now. You specialise in thoughts of limitation, lack and powerlessness and your second product line is giving transitory and illusory rewards for those who successfully follow the primary system of illusion and delusion. One of your tools is a communication system which is designed to spread these concepts and news of fear-engendering incidents instantly and worldwide. The puppeteers who pull emotional strings are themselves caught up in the system, and as much victims of it as those who are manipulated. But you can turn off the fear engineers. Turn off the TV and the radio. Cut down on newspaper time. Choose not to add to reactionary chatter. Turn your mind inwards and reconnect with your inner truth. Deliberately speak out whatever is of benefit to you and others. Allow compassion and wisdom to guide your actions. Spread your Light. From your sister in the human family, KC Solanya |
