This candle is lit for those to whom we lose every day. You see... People pass on everyday, and we have a tendensy to overlook it unless that person is someone close to us, or just someone we knew. You see this candle is lit for every who has lost a loved one, and for those lost souls that have been found. I pray that if you are reading this you understand what I am saying. I have lost six people in my life. One was my Dad... Don. He passed away December 30, 1994. I lost my Grandma on April 19, 1996. I lost her dad, my great grandfather, whom I had never met in person, a few months later. Then I lost two friends in a terrible car wreck in July. The Jessica had her birthday that day, and her younger brothers' was a month away. They were in the accident with three other guys. The five of them were in a truck and hit a semi with no trailer, after going at least 80mphs. Yes, I know that they shouldn't have gone that fast, but there are so many people who lose family or friends to things like this every day. It is unfortunate that this happened to someone so young with a long and promising life ahead of them. Then I lost my Great Grandmother on December 1, 1999. She never got to see to new century come in, but I am thankful that I got to meet her, and learn a little about my family heritage. She was a smart, and very loving lady. She lived in Hawaii and I only got to meet her in person once, but those two dyas will stay with me for the rest of my life. I dedicate this page to them all. One candle to light the way for everyone who every needed a light to help them find there way, and comfort them in a hard time. God Bless You All, and my love and prayers, to you all.
Another shooting in a downtown school, Another death in the street, another child beaten, another mother suffers, another fathers grief.
We hear about so much bad stuff on tv now, that it is hard to turn on the news anymore. We have to try harder. People... we have to do this together. Look I am not saying go out and lecture to anyone, but listen to your kids, or friends, hear what is going on... understand... and try to give them the best knowledge and understanding of the right thing. Help make our schools, churches, streets,and homes better. We are in a new century... and it is time to take action for mistakes we have been making for ages. Lets make this century the best one yet. I mean look, we have been lucky enough to make it this far... so why push it any further??? Get along!!!
For those who know me know I don't have any kids, and for that matter, don't want or need any right now... I am only 18. By the time I may want kids will it be safe enough?? I mean look at the schools, and for that matter look at any of the problems we have. Why do we make such a big deal about other countries and their problems, and we never once look at all the problems we have here. Ok does that not seem odd??? Just saying.
