The New Nikon F100

Many proffesional photographers asked for a really good camera with a lot of features. Nikon sattisfied all of them by producing the really heavy, and super-fast F5. Some not-so-proffesional photographers, though, really don't like the heavy, and complex F5. Nikon, became aware of these people and made the new F100, which the editors of Popular Photography Magazine call the F5 Lite.

OK, so it's not that fast, and missing one or two custom features, but the F100 is more lighter, has less safety features (on the F5, a lot of the controls are heavilly damped or click-stopped to prevent accidental control changes) so that you can make adjustments way faster, and has a new primary focus sensor lock feature (something the F5 doesn't have). It also features a better viewfinder with easy-to-read settings, and a better LCD pannel. There is no street price yet, but it should be on sale in a month or two.
