Bad Girls

Buffy and Faith fight three demons while Faith asks if Buffy has ever slept with Xander. Buffy answers no while they dust the vamps. Buffy looks for the armor they had, but it is gone.

The mayor and Mr. Trick have the armor and are discussing the "dedication". Something big is up and the mayor asks Mr. Trick to look out for these guys. (the ones with the armor)

At school, Willow has been excepted to Harvard, Yale, and Wesleyn. Xander talks about how he has no future. Then Cordy comes up and insults Xander, then leaves. Buffy is worried about not being able to pass her chemistry test. But, before she can worry about that, she has to report to the library to meet her new watcher.

He is incredibly dorky, talking about how he's killed two vamps himself and blah, blah, blah. He inquires after her patrol the evening before, and finds the name of the vamp from the night before. Very bad guys, who are looking for an amulet. He gives her an order, and she cracks a joke. Faith walks in and blows off the new watcher.

Buffy goes after her and Faith convinces her that they should rebel. But, Buffy decides to go to find the amulet. She goes to some crypt and begins opening tombs. She finds it, but hears someone coming. She dives into a tomb and hides. The bad guys get the amulet.

Buffy crawls out of the tomb and Faith is there. They go outside and see the guys jumping into a manhole. At the insistence of Faith, they follow. They battle numerous guys and almost get themselves killed. The guy tries to drown Buffy, but she is only knocked unconscious and gets the amulet back.

She takes it back to boring watcher guy and he inspects the amulet. She has to leave to take her chemistry test. She won't stop taking about the buzz she got off killing vamps with Faith and completely blows off the test to go slaying with her. They kill some vamps and then go dancing; where she sees Angel. He tells her that demon guy who wants the amulet isn't dead. Her watcher comes up and asks who Angel is. They blow off that question and she finds the amulet on him. She gives it to Angel. Buffy goes on the dance floor and retrieves Faith.

Amulet needing guy is basically a big fat tub of lard who lounges around in a tank demanding the amulet. Faith and Buffy need weapons, so they break in to a store and take some weapons. Suddenly, they are cornered by cops. They are arrested and cuffed, and are taken for a ride. They escape by kicking out the wire screen and escaping.

The mayor is in his office and meets with some Boy Scouts. After they leave, one of the amulet guys guy attacks him. But, Mr. Trick knocks him out.

Big fat tub guy (a.k.a.: amulet guy) is super pissed and puts out an order to get the slayers and the watchers.

Willow feels really bad that Buffy doesn't want her around that night when they fight amulet guy. She feels rejected because Buffy would rather go out with Faith.

Giles and dorky new watcher argue about Buffy and Giles's methods with her. They are suddenly approached by the amulet guys henchmen; who are also fighting Buffy and Faith. Faith accidentally stakes a real person (The mayor's assistant) and he dies.

Faith gets scared and they run away. Faith goes one way, and Buffy goes another and then she runs into Angel; who tells her that they have Giles. Faith goes back to the body to face what she has done.

Giles and the new watcher are being held by the fat tubby amulet guy. Giles starts to crack jokes while the new watcher tries to negotiate. Angel shows up with full game face and a major battle begins. Buffy, Angel, and Giles all fight miscellaneous guys until tub/amulet guy tries to kill Angel. But, Buffy comes to the rescue and electrocutes him. Unfortunately, he won't seem to die. Before he does he warns her about "him".

We see the mayor perform his ritual and then is able to be cut and reanimate himself. Basically, he becomes invincible.

Buffy goes to see Faith, and she tells her that she got rid of the body. Buffy tells her that it isn't that simple, she has killed a man. Faith tells her that she doesn't care.

Review

**

A very mediocre episode that is leading to an episode that looks very good. It serves the same purpose as "Anne", sets up conflict for "Dead Man's Party"; or in this case, "Consequences". I was getting a kick out of the jokes though... Loved the Xander stuff, including the "Faith" guilt. Speaking of which, whats with her lack of it? I guess it's a plot set up for next week. Also, the Buffy and Angel scene was funny, and I liked the introduction of the new watcher. But, the big, fat tub guy has to go. Was not enjoying that one.... All in all, an uneventful episode that will not stick out in my mind. But, the next one might!
