Cordelia Chase has been looking down on Willow Rosenburg and Xander Harris for years, but when Buffy started hanging with them making them "remotely cooler", things began to change. Weird things always started to happen around them and she began to notice how many people in Sunnydale ended up dead.

When all of Cordelia's relationships failed, she finally found the perfect man... in Xander? Somehow these two clicked in a burst of passion (WML), which was soon followed by an actual relationship. Despite the fact that Cordelia was embarrassed to date Xander and broke up with him (BBB); in the end she stood up for him and they continued their lust-fest. They spent the summer masquerading as "Night Hawk" (Xander) and his faithful sidekick (Cordy). When she and Buffy were abducted before Homecoming, Cordelia professed her love for Xander. In the same episode, Xander and Willow kissed for the first time. Then, she and Oz find Xander and Willow making out in the Factory, and she storms out. Then she almost dies. So, that relationship ended badly. She decided that all her problems were due to Buffy. Now she's vowed revenge on Xander & Co.

Charisma Carpenter almost didn't even make it to her audition. But, is she ever glad that the casting agents hung around an extra hour or so waiting! When her show "Malibu Shores" was cancelled, she auditioned for Buffy. She totally clicked for the producers and was hired. Now, she is Cordelia to everyone. Though Charisma makes the perfect Cordelia, she is actually nothing like her alter ego. She's actually nice. She is always willing to sign an autograph and many fans are shocked when they meet her to find that she is nothing like Cordelia. But, she still has fun with her character. She's alway saying to Joss, "Don't make her too nice," in reference to Cordelia being part of the Scooby Gang. So, she seems to completely enjoy playing the bitchy character. She lives in LA with her two golden retrievers Sydney and Hobbie.
