It is the hope of ReptiCare Services Reptile Rescue Program that through education and public awareness concerning the plight of these beautiful and misunderstood creatures that someday the importation of reptiles for the pet trade will cease to exit.
ReptiCare Services Reptile Rescue Program was privately founded in 1995 by Edward M. Craft, a Veterinary Assistant in Huntsville, AL. It was established due to a great need for a permanent shelter for abused and unwanted exotic reptiles.
Our primary function is to help shelter and feed exotic animals that are unwanted, have been starved or abused and need a permanent facility to live out their lives. These are animals that can not be returned back into the wild. We also rehabilitate native reptiles, and educate the public, schools, scout groups, etc., about these wild creatures, their uniqueness and the role they play in nature. Your donations of money, food, cages and equipment can help make a difference. If you would like to help you may make a donation to Repticare Services by sending it to 804 Chambers Dr., N.E., Huntsville, AL 35801 or for more information about how you can help you may give us a call at (256) 536-0999 or e-mail us at ReptiCare@aol.com for more information on how you can help.
For emergency rescue call: (256) 536-0999 and leave a message. All calls will be returned as soon as they are received. Please do not call requesting that we buy your reptile, we are in the business of saving reptiles, not adding to their plight.
