Earthy colours and graphic motifs are characteristic of Ikat from Orissa in Eastern India. The sari is made of Kora which is silk blended with lesser yarns. Kora silk has a sheen to it, ehich though not unattractive, is not favoured by many. The fabric is tight and does not breathe which makes it quite unsuitable for sultry climate. The sari is offset by a gold Kora tissue blouse lined with purple.
