 | Benares, lately called Varanasi is a holy city on the banks of the river Ganges. Featured here is a soft fine Benaresi Kora sari. The fabric is slippery and the Pallu is clipped to the blouse at the shoulder. Like the Kancheevaram, this sari usually forms part of a bride's dowry.
