- Det var inte meningen (som ni kanske vet) att jag skulle göra den här veckans TASS, utan det skulle Ademaj stå för, men jag blev klar med mina skolarbeten långt före jag trodde, sååååå..........

- Jag har märkt att det sprids lite rykten på nätet om att jag skulle vara nedtryckande mot wrestlers, andra wrestlingfans etc, så nu är det *åter* dags för mig att försvara mig.
- Jag har officiellt bett om ursäkt (se TASS #30) för mitt lilla utspel om ett mail jag fick för ett par veckor sen (se TASS #26) och jag VET att personen som skrev mailet har förlåtit mig.
- Sen har jag allmänt hört att folk tycker illa om mig, men jag kan inte förstå varför. Om det nu är för ovantående, så hoppas jag att vi kan glömma och gå vidare.
(Följande gäller SweWrestling listan):
- Det har som sagt varit mycket snack på sista tiden om vad man får och inte får snacka om på listan. Av nån anledning har folk trott att det är JAG som har blivit en liten moraltant som ska bestämma allt över alla, men så är inte fallet. Som jag tidigare har berättat har folk (säkert sju åtta stycken) hört av sig, och berättat att de mår dåligt av allt tjafs om att vissa brottare ser ut som alkisar, och har även varit förbannade på en viss person som skrev ett väldigt omoget (tyckte några av dem) mail, där han tyckte att man kunde göra vad man ville med alkoholister, och en massa annat. Och eftersom jag råkar vara moderator, det vill säga listansvarig, har jag ansvaret (och en oskriven regel är) att folk inte ska må dåligt på grund av listan. Och folk mådde dåligt av "alkoholist snacket", så jag valde att säga ifrån. Men jag stängde INTE av NÅN från listan (och har aldrig gjort) utan jag bad bara personen sluta skriva såna mail. Det var på eget begär han lämnade listan! - Det säger sig självt att om åtta mår dåligt av nåt som en person gör, bör man göra nåt åt den personen som är i minoritet. Jag personligen vill inte att folk ska må dåligt på "min" lista. Jag hoppas ni fattar resonemanget.
- Sen att det klagas på mig för att jag klagar på brottare är en annan femma. JAG TÅL KRITIK vilket inte många verkar ha fattat, utan det smusslas och knusslas istället. Men har ni tänkt på att det går alldeles utmärkt att skicka in kolumner till TASS, där ni klagar på mig (om det är befogat) och det går precis lika bra att maila mig personligen, eller att ta upp det på listan. - Och om jag nu har rört upp så många känslor, så vill jag gärna veta VAD jag har sagt som har tagits illa upp. (Och det går faktiskt att skaffa en Hotmailadress och maila mig "anonymt" om ni inte vill att jag ska veta vilka ni är.)
- Nytt för den här veckan är att vi kommer att ha med måndagsresultaten från både WWF RAW, SmackDown! & WCW Nitro & Thunder. Men tyvärr kommer vi inte översätta (snor nämligen hela skiten) men jag hoppas ni kan stå ut med det. (Språket är engelska om ni inte hajade det. =) ) Men tycker ni det är överflödigt med en recension av varje RAW/Nitro? Eller nöjer ni er med "X slog X"? HÖR AV ER! Det känns ju inte så kul att bara sno recension rakt av (www.pwtorch.com) och dessutom ska ju TASS vara på svenska. Men som sagt, voice your opinion, så ska vi se hur vi gör. Dessutom planerar vi att ta med resultat från ALLA storgalor, både WWF, WCW & ECW. MEN, ett stort men; det kommer INTE att vara på svenska. Kalla det lathet eller vad ni vill - det är *ganska* jobbigt att översätta allt, och dessutom är det inte kul att skriva om en gala som man inte har sett. Men, som jag har hunnit med att säga två gånger idag, HÖR AV ER! =)
- Som Veckans Gästkolumnist ser (eller läser) vi en tjej, vilket vi på listan inte är bortskämda med. Det är väl än så länge bara två medlemmar som är tjejer? Hursomhelst är det mycket kul! (Hon har dessutom mycket bra smak vad gäller brottare.....speciellt de hon satte på plats två och tio.)
- Jaja, ni SKA få läsa news, jag ska bara berätta en liten sak till; jag har inte gjort ett enda av newsen idag, så all credit går till Ademaj och Ruud. Men å andra sidan lyckades jag fixa VG i filosofi, helt otippat.

* Raw Is War 15/05-2000

This was a decent edition of Raw that most importantly forwarded storylines leading into Sunday's Judgment Day PPV. On the down side, Shawn Michaels return was very flat. He interacted only with Vince McMahon - not with Triple H or Rock. It may have been intentional since they wanted there to be mystery to whose side Michaels was on, but it made for a bland return by HBK. He didn't help matters by wandering through his interview so nonchalantly it was as if we were keeping him from something more important. He just didn't seem to care. There wasn't an ounce of sincerity or energy to his promo that gave any impression he was the least bit excited about being called in to be the referee.
Triple H and Rock did a good job establishing with viewers what major issues are at stake going into their Iron Man match, including stressing that Rock has never used submission holds in his matches before. The intrigue of whether these two can pull off a good match is a major selling point for the PPV, and in so many words that issue was brought up as they talked about whether either of them were in shape to make it all 60 minutes.
The show ended with Rock putting Triple H through a table. It seemed backwards since the heel should get heat on the babyface leading into the PPV so fans have to pay to see the heel get revenge. Instead, the WWF opted for a feel-good ending. Perhaps Smackdown will have a hotter show-finishing angle to give the final push to the PPV main event.
The rest of the show was just WWF-filler. Decent filler, but nothing that stands out. It could be compiled into a one hour edition of Heat and no one would notice. Edge & Christian and Kurt Angle were the highlights of the supporting material. Their current acts provide reason enough to stay tuned during slower parts of the show because their segment could be next.
Rundown of the Show
Shawn Michaels came out to his “Boy Toy” music at the start of the program. He introduced himself to fans “who might not know who he is.” He said once, many years ago, he was referred to as the greatest wrestler of all time. Ross said, “It’s hard to argue with that.” Michaels said new things are important to him now including his wife, his son Cameron, and his TWA promotion. He said he hasn't been good at his job and thus resigned as WWF Commissioner. He said he was the one who started everything going on. He then pointed to the TitanTron which showed Michaels costing Rock his chance to beat Triple H and win the WWF Title on the very first Smackdown show last August. Vince McMahon walked to the ring with a big smile on his face. Michaels told Vince that Linda McMahon made him the new spokesman for the WWF. He also announced that he would be the special referee for the 60 minute Iron Man match. Vince’s mood changed. McMahon questioned how resilient Michaels is now. Michaels shoved McMahon to the mat…
They showed that during the break Michaels walked through the underground parking ramp. As he drove off in his limo, DX showed up in theirs. They weren’t sure if they had just seen Michaels. Big Show approached DX and asked them if they had seen Shane McMahon. They said they hadn’t… Backstage Al Snow told Steve Blackman he is now doing yoga to calm himself because he is so “serious” now…
The Dudleys beat Al Snow & Steve Blackman at 3:00
X-Pac, Road Dogg, and Tori watched the match from the stage. After the match they attacked
the Dudleys. They put Buh Buh on a table and let Tori leap off the top rope onto Buh Buh.
D-Von told Buh Buh, who was in a trance in a corner in the locker room, to snap out of it.
He said the guilty will pay…Stephanie talked about Rikishi’s “stink
face.” She was in tears as she said how humiliating it was. She introduced Kurt Angle
as someone who knows how wrong stink-face is. Angle came out and was going to hug Steph,
but then changed his tune and shook her hand to prove what a gentleman he was. Angle said
that may be how people greet each other in Samoa (and Cleveland as well), but it’s
inappropriate in the States…
Rikishi beat Kurt Angle by DQ at 1:04
As Rikishi was about to give Angle the Stink Face, Edge and Christian interfered. Too Cool
cleared the ring with Rikishi, and then they danced…
Godfather (w/hos) vs. Crash Holly ended with one of the
hos pinning Crash to capture the Hardcore Title
D-Lo inserted himself into the match. As he fought Godfather, a ho covered a KO’d
Crash for the belt. As she celebrated, Crash schoolboyed her to regain the title…
Vince McMahon, Triple H, and Stephanie came out. Vince said Michaels left the building, and it’s a damn good thing he did. Vince announced Rock would have to face Chris Benoit in a submissions match. Vince asked Triple H if Rock knows any submission holds. Triple H said no. Then Triple H talked about the 60 minute format and said most wrestlers wouldn’t dare touch it because they can’t pull it off. He said he is ready, but wondered if Rock was. He said he and Michaels have a huge past, but do they have a present? He said if Michaels doesn’t call it down the middle, he won’t have a future. Rock then interrupted and walked out onto the stage. Rock said the last time he was in the ring with Triple H and Michaels, Michaels cost him the WWF Title. He said as far as he is concerned, for all the things he wants to do to him, one hour isn’t enough…
Hardcore Holly pinned Chris Jericho at 4:29.
At 1:50 they fought into the crowd. At 3:00 Hardcore whipped Jericho with a strap. When
Holly came off the top rope with a garbage can, Jericho dropkicked it into his face. In
the end Benoit came to the ring, put Jericho in a choke hold, then Holly hit Jericho with
a chair and covered him for the win… Big Show saw a limo arrive, so he ran up to and
dragged the people inside out of the limo. No sign of Shane…
Shane McMahon came out to the ring and told Big Show he can find him right there. He said fans call him a “pussy.” He looked it up in the dictionary and it means cat. Shane said he is quick as a cat and Big Show would never catch him at the PPV. Big Show came out with a Big Smile on his face and said he had Shane right where he wanted him. Shane instead bailed out of the ring and introduced T&A as Big Show’s opponents…
Big Show beat T&A (w/Trish, Gerald Brisco)
At 3:00 Trish entered the ring and slapped Big Show, so he grabbed her by the throat.
Brisco ran in and yelled at Show. Show chokeslammed him. Shane hit Big Show with a chair
from behind. Big Show no-sold it, then Shane ran to the back. Big Show caught up to him
and tossed him into the top of the entryway. T&A attacked Show on the stage, but he
easily fended them off…
Saturn & Dean Malenko (LH) beat Eddie Guerrero (Euro) &
Chyna at 5:04
In the end, Chyna mistakenly low-blowed Guerrero leading to the pin… Michael Cole
interviewed Edge & Christian backstage. They made fun of Cole’s hair
highlights…
Edge & Christian (Tag) beat The Hardy Boyz and The Acolytes
when Edge pinned Matt Hardy at 2:23 to retain the WWF Tag Team Titles…
Edge and Christian are on their way to the ring, and Jim Ross says that Shane McMahon has
been taken to a local hospital as a result of the beating that he got at the hands of The
Big Show. Christian gets on the mic and says that they have a treat for the fans tonight.
Edge says that they will unvail a special new pose for 5 seconds only. Edge says they call
it a Cleveland Indians Relief picture, and they do their pose. The fans boo that, and the
Hardy Boyz are on their way to the ring next. This is a Triple Threat match for the tag
team titles, and the Acolytes are the third team in this contest. Bradshaw starts it off
against Matt Hardy, and Bradshaw gives Matt a big boot and then he pins him for a two
count as Christian breaks up the pin.
Matt and Edge look to be starting it out in the ring, and the Hardy Boyz double team Edge.
Jeff pins Edge for a two count and then he tags in Christian. Edge and Christian give Jeff
a double team head butt, and then Christian pins him for a two count. Jeff goes to the top
rope and he nails Christian with a corkscrew moonsault. Jeff then tags in Matt as
Christian tags in Edge. Matt drop kicks Bradshaw from the apron and then he gives Edge the
twist of fate and he pins him for a two count. Christian gives Matt his finishing move and
Edge pins Matt to get the win as the Acolytes and Jeff fight on the outside of the ring...
Benoit was finishing up a conversation with Vince McMahon when Cole entered the room to interview Benoit. Benoit promo’d the TV main event and his PPV match against Jericho…
Chris Benoit (IC) beat The Rock (C) at 6:45 via submission
Vince McMahon, Triple H, and Stephanie were at ringside. At 6:15 after Rock put Benoit in
the figure-four leglock, Triple H entered the ring and yanked Benoit to the ropes. The ref
called for the break. Rock punched Triple H off the ring apron, but Benoit immediately
took Rock down with a Crippler Crossface and McMahon ordered the timekeeper to ring the
bell, a la Survivor Series. Rock fended off an attack by Triple H and Benoit afterward.
Vince got into the ring, but then quickly retreated toward the back. Jericho walked out
and forced McMahon back toward the ring. Rock grabbed Vince, but Triple H made the save.
Jericho entered the ring and fought Triple H as Benoit beat on Rock in the corner. Jericho
put Triple H in the Walls of Jericho. Triple H tapped out. Rock then gave Benoit the Rock
Bottom. Road Dogg and X-Pac ran to the ring and attacked Jericho and Rock. It came down to
Triple H and Rock in the ring one-on-one. Rock then chokeslammed Triple H through a table
set up in the ring for a huge pop to end the show…
* Veckans skämt: Jesse Ventura har sålt rättigheter till Broadway att göra en musikal om hans liv, och det sägs att David Hasselhoff kan komma att spela "The Body".
* HBK gjorde comeback på RAW där han sa upp sig som kommisionär. Han blev även utsedd att döma Iron Man matchen på Judgement day.
* Austin kommer att spela en medlem i Hells Angels i en film om Janis Joplin.
* Biljetterna till WWF´s nästa Englands turné börjar säljas på lördag morgon. Priset för en ringside-biljett blir 40 dollar. För beställning gå in på www.ticketweb.co.uk. Galan kommer att gå den 2 December.
* När Kane´s långvariga fejd med X-Pac läggs ner kommer Kane bli en toppkandidat till Intercontinental bältet. Eller så kommer han kanske teama upp med Undertaker när han kommer tillbaka.
* WWF har stora planer för Rikishi Phatu! Han har blivit införd i rampljuset snabbare än någon annan i WWF. På Wrestlemania 2001 kommer han enligt ett rykte att ha en stor roll. Ni kan även räkna med att se guld runt Rikisi midja inom en snar framtid (kanske inte runt midjan, men på axlen:)).
* Ni har säkert läst att det är nya wrestlingspel på gång till
Playstation, N64 och Dreamcast och PC.

nog inget komma att stoppa WWF's framfart.
* En musiker i Amerika har släppt ett nytt album. Han heter Collin Raye och han säger att albumet är för Owen Hart. De var vännner och Collin var en av dem som var på hans begravning.

NITRO: Chopping Down The Family Trees
From the onset, the fans of Biloxi knew they weren't in for just an
ordinary Nitro. After all, as the show went on the air, Vampiro squared off against Sting
in the House of Pain, setting the tone for the rest of the show. Eric Bischoff broke the
family ties between Hulk Hogan and his nephew, sending Horace off with the beautiful
Torrie Wilson as his prize. Vince Russo continued to drive the wedge between David Flair
and his father. But as Monday Nitro came to a close, it was Ric Flair standing center ring
with the biggest prize of them all... the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.
Show Results
House Of Pain Match
Sting d. Vampiro at 5:00
The show started off with a main-event caliber showdown, as Sting faced off against his
most hated rival, Vampiro. The dark angel forced Sting to climb to the top as he locked
the cage door. The Stinger beat in a section of the mesh ceiling and dropped down,
starting the match. After landing a series of splashes in the corner, Sting was slowed
down by his evil opponent. As Vampiro went for a hurracanrana, he was caught and dropped
to the canvas with a powerbomb. Stinger made his comeback in a big way, shackling Vampiro
to the steel cage to take home the victory. After the bell, the lights went out. When they
returned, Vampiro was gone from the shackles.
Outside, as Brian Clark went to his trunk to get his bags, "The Franchise" Shane Douglas attacked, repeatedly bringing the trunk down across his back.
Backstage, Captain Rection renamed Van Hammer, Major Stash and Chavo Guerrero Jr. as Lieutenant Loco. He then went on to introduce the newest member of the Misfits In Action, Major Guns, a beautiful buxom blonde, who was dressed for battle.

Brian Clark challenged Shane Douglas to come to the ring and fight face-to-face, instead
of from behind. The Franchise came out and said that even though Buff Bagwell was
suspended, he had a New Blood partner that would watch his back.
WCW Tag Team Title Match
Kronic d. Shane Douglas & The Wall at 3:27
The Wall came out and the NB hit the ring. Douglas wasn't long for the match however,
retreating to the back with Clark on his heels. Wall dropped both members of Kronic
through tables at ringside. Kronic came back and double slammed Wall through the
announcer's table. Once back inside, it was only a matter of a three-count before Clark
and Adams took the win. As the paramedics tried to help The Wall, he jumped them, putting
one through a ringside table.
Backstage, Disco Inferno told Eric Bischoff that he wanted out of the Mamalukes, stating he wanted to be with his friends. Bischoff, who was preoccupied talking to Kimberly, told him to do whatever he wanted. The Cat walked Terry Funk into the office, where Easy E told the legend to hand over the Hardcore Title. When he refused, Cat attacked Funk, as Eric resumed his conversation with Kim.
Outside, the fired Norman Smiley and Ralphus picked through a dumpster. Goldberg's truck was in the background.
WCW Hardcore Title Match
Terry Funk d. The Filthy Animals at 2:59
Konnan told Terry Funk to get to the ring so The Filthy Animals could beat the hardcore
belt off of him. The Cat got to Funk as he came to the ring. The Animals destroyed the
hardcore legend, taking him out with a chair, a stick and a bat. The Misfits In Action
came in for the save, but with the help of Disco Inferno, The Animals kept control. Booker
T charged the ring and cleaned house, rolling Funk on top of Juvi for the pinfall. Capt.
Rection called out Major Guns, who gave Terry Funk mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
Outside, Ric Flair arrived at the arena in a limousine. The Goldberg truck still loomed in the background.
Backstage, Ric Flair asked Bischoff where Russo was, telling Easy E that if he couldn't find Vinnie Ru, it was on Eric's head.
Outside, Norman and Ralphus picked up a job selling popcorn at the arena.
WCW Cruiserweight Title Match
Crowbar and Daffney d. Chris Candido and Tammy at 5:17
Candido said that he and Tammy were the first couple of WCW and put out a challenge to any
couple, even putting the Cruiserweight Title on the line. Crowbar and Daffney answered the
call and the match was on. Miss Hancock sauntered to the ring, much to the usual delight
of Mark Madden. The guys and the girls traded moves with one another, with no one getting
the decisive win. Tammy did a baseball slide, kicking a chair into the head of Crowbar.
Tammy and Chris brought Crowbar down with a double suplex. Miss Hancock got the mic and
told Tony Schiavone she was going to do a special dance just for him. Crowbar and Candido
fought on the ramp as Daffney rolled up Tammy for the three-count. As Crowbar told Daffney
to strap the title on him, she put it on herself, telling him that she won the match. The
Nature Boy charged the ring and ran them both off before taking the ring mic.
Flair demanded that Russo come to the ring. Back in the truck, Russo told the production crew to play the tape on his cue.
Outside, as Sting went to leave the arena, he looked to the parking lot to see his car on fire.
In pre-taped footage from Ric Flair's home in Charlotte, David Flair took Russo through the Flair home, as they violated the Flair family's privacy. Russo and Daffney rolled around on Ric and Beth's bed, and Daffney went through Mrs. Flair's closet. Russo even put on one of Flair's robes. As this all went on, Ric Flair watched on the big screen from the arena. David even claimed that he slept on the floor of the unfinished basement. Beth, Reid and Ashley arrived at the house and ordered David and his "guests" out of the house. After badmouthing the Flair family, Russo and his pseudo kids left the house.

Back in the ring, Ric Flair told his son David to come to the ring. The Nature Boy said
that he won a title shot at the WCW Title last week by winning the battle royal. He said
he would face Jeff Jarrett later in the show instead of the Great American Bash. Ric told
David that he had better get ready, because at the Bash, the two of them would wrestle
instead. On top of that, if Ric didn't win the match at the Bash, he would retire from
wrestling. Jarrett came in and smashed a guitar over the Nature Boy's head. The Chosen One
applied the figure four as David laid in punches on his father's head.
Backstage, Russ screamed for someone to fix the cage above the ring. He told Elizabeth it was time for some tough love.
Interview: Vince Russo with Elizabeth
Russo told Liz that because she had been making a fool out of him for the past few weeks,
she would have to compete in the House Of Pain against Madusa. Deucy entered the cage,
ready to exact revenge for the chair shot Liz gave her. Russo and Madusa berated Liz in
the corner as The Main Event Chuck Palumbo locked the cage door and threw away the key. A
man climbed to the top of the cage and climbed down through the hole made earlier. It
turned out to be The Total Package, who racked Madusa, before Vince delivered a low blow.
Luger seemed unharmed, as he reached down into his work suit to reveal a protective cup.
Elizabeth dropped Russo with a low blow and put the cup over his face. R&B Security
and Palumbo finally broke down the door to attack Luger. Kevin Nash hit the ring for the
save until Mike Awesome stopped him in his tracks. As the NB retreated to the back, Nash
challenged Awesome to an Ambulance Match later in the show.

Big Poppa Pump told Mean Gene that he was not going to wrestle his scheduled match.
Instead, he would be out back waiting for Tank Abbott and Rick Steiner to arrive.
In the arena, Norman Smiley and Ralphus sold popcorn to the fans.
Outside, the fight was on between Scott Steiner and Tank. The girls got in a few shots on Rick with some 2X4's. As Rick and Tank got the best of Big Poppa Pump, the Goldberg monster truck arrived, putting an end to the attack.
Ambulance Match
Kevin Nash d. Mike Awesome at 5:22
Big Sexy backed the Ambulance into the arena. This battle of two of WCW's most powerful
men started with a fury as Awesome and Nash pounded each other from one corner to the
next. Awesome brought a chair into the ring, but it was used against him, courtesy of Big
Sexy, who introduced it to Mike's back. They fought up the ramp and onto the stage, using
the scaffolding as a weapon. After Awesome set up a table on the floor, he came back onto
the ramp, and was treated to a Diamond Cutter by DDP himself. Nash and Page took Awesome
to the edge of the stage and delivered a double powerbomb, driving Awesome through the
table below. The referee called for the bell, awarding the match to Big Sexy.
Backstage, Eric Bischoff said would have to take things into his own hands.
Outside, Hulk Hogan pulled up to the arena, looking ready to fight.
At the popcorn stand, Norman and Ralphus were fired after Ralphus was caught scooping the popcorn with the same hand he just scratched his ass with.
Interview: Eric Bischoff, The Cat and Kimberly
Bischoff challenged DDP to come to the ring for a fight, making sure he brought backup
with him. Page came out and laid into both Bischoff and The Cat. He sent Eric into the
guardrail over and over, much to the delight of the Biloxi crowd. Inside, Cat and Bischoff
took over before Sid returned to stand in DDP's corner. As they made the tag, Vicious
entered and immediately sent Page to the canvas with a chokeslam. Sid and Easy E
celebrated before Hulk Hogan made the save. Bischoff told Hogan that if he wanted to play,
he should stay in the ring.
Three-Way Dance
Horace Hogan d. Hulk Hogan and Billy Kidman at 4:56
Backstage, Eric Bischoff and Billy Kidman told Horace Hogan to trust them and to not screw
up. Eric told Hogan that his own nephew would kick his ass tonight. Hulk grabbed Kidman
and tossed him into the ring like a rag doll as Eric joined the announcers. Horace just
stood by and watched as The Hulkster worked over the young Billy. Kidman tried to leave
the ring, but Horace stopped him, throwing him back to Hulk. When Eric questioned his
actions, Horace sent Bischoff to the floor with a right hand. The Filthy Animals entered,
but it was The Hulkster and his nephew hitting everyone in sight with steel chairs, left
to stand alone in the ring. As Torrie Wilson came down the ramp, Horace nodded to her
before clobbering Hulk with the chair. The Animals, Kidman and Bischoff embraced Horace,
welcoming him into the New Blood faction.
Backstage, Kidman threw a fit as Horace left the arena with Torrie. Eric told Billy he would explain later.
Kevin Nash watched on a monitor from the back.
WCW World Heavyweight Title Match
Ric Flair d. Jeff Jarrett at 6:16
David Flair and "new dad" Vince Russo joined Tony, Scott and Mark to announce
the all-important title match. The Nature Boy jumped Jarrett as he came onto the stage.
Flair tore into The Chosen One, beating him senseless around the ringside area. Jarrett
slammed a chair repeatedly into the midsection of the challenger. Jeff applied the figure
four to the Nature Boy right in the center of the ring. Flair came back and quicker than a
hiccup, rolled up Jarrett for the pin, becoming the 15-time champion. Russo, David and
Daffney ran in and, along with Jarrett, destroyed the Nature Boy with the mini Statue of
Liberty. Enter Kevin Nash, who made the save again, powerbombing Jeff so hard that he
collapsed into the ring on impact. Nash handed the belt to Flair as he celebrated with the
Biloxi crowd.
Backstage, Eric Bischoff told Shane Douglas that he and Russo had to board a plane Wednesday morning and that The Franchise was in charge at Thunder.
Insider details on finish of Jeff Jarrett vs. Ric Flair on Nitro
Ric Flair, wearing street clothes, captured the WCW Title from Jeff Jarrett in the Nitro main event tonight.
As of mid-afternoon, the booking plans were totally different. Jarrett was originally scripted to pin Flair thanks to interference from David Flair. Then, Kevin Nash was going to powerbomb Jarrett and take the WCW Title belt with him leading to their PPV title match.
Instead, somebody backstage at WCW offered a brainstorm to Vince Russo that for shock value purposes, he book Flair to win the belt "since nobody will be expecting that." Russo liked the idea and rebooked the finish of the match to Flair winning.
Jarrett apparently fought the idea, believing like Page did a couple of weeks ago that the rapid fire title changes did more harm than good. Russo stuck with his revised plans.

THUNDER: Disrespecting Authority
Show Results
At the end of Monday's Nitro broadcast, we found out that Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo would be doing business elsewhere for Thunder and that The Franchise Shane Douglas would be in charge for the night. The Franchise barked orders from the start, but as the show progressed without the two big sheriffs around, Shane found out exactly how loyal the New Blood were going to stay to the new Deputy Douglas.
Outside the arena, Shane Douglas checked off the names of the New Blood members as they exited their bus. Konnan challenged Douglas' authority, leading to the New Blood members breaking into a fight amongst each other. The Millionaires' Club seized the opportunity to attack the whole pack of them, creating a WCW riot in the parking lot.

The Millionaires' Club came to the ring, along with the Misfits In Action and Booker T.
Hulk Hogan told The Franchise that whatever he had planned for the evening, it wasn't
going to take place. The New Blood came to the stage, with Douglas reminding everyone who
was put in charge. Hulk challenged Kidman to a match at the Great American Bash and told
Horace he would go one-on-one with his uncle later on Thunder. When Jeff Jarrett came to
the stage and called out The Nature Boy, Flair smacked him in the back of the head with
the WCW Title, before the New Blood jumped on him. The Millionaires' Club ran up the ramp
for the save.
Backstage, as Shane Douglas tried to regroup his troops, The Filthy Animals said they would not fight his battles for him and walked off.
No Contest - The Filthy Animals vs. The Misfits In Action
The Animals came to the ring with a very cool new entrance. Major Guns accompanied the
Misfits to the ring, looking ready for a fight. All four members of the MIA splashed Disco
in the corner before Guns came in to get her two... cents in. Rey went onto Rection's
shoulders for a huracanrana, but the Captain held him up. As Rey punched his way out of
the move, Rection fell forward, landing between the legs of Mysterio. Shawn Stasiak came
out and DDT'd Lieutenant Loco on the ramp, causing the ref to throw the match away. Booker
hit the ring and sent the Animals and Stasiak heading for higher ground. Major Guns gave
Loco mouth-to-mouth resuscitation after the attack.
Backstage, The Millionaires smiled as they watched the action on the monitor. The Total Package excused himself, saying he had something to take care of.
Interview: The Misfits In Action and Booker T
Booker told Mean Gene that he was sick of the New Blood and that it was time for him to go
to war.
Backstage, Billy Kidman took offense to Horace reaching for Torrie's arm to go to the ring. Horace knocked Kidman to the ground and grabbed Wilson, heading into the arena.
Hulk Hogan d. Horace Hogan with Torrie Wilson
Hulk jumped on Horace as he entered the ring, with the action quickly falling to the
floor. Inside, The Hulkster used the weightlifting belt, bringing it down hard across the
back of his turncoat nephew. Torrie distracted the referee, allowing Horace to jump Hulk
from behind. When Torrie hugged and kissed Horace, Kidman charged the ring in a jealous
rage. Hulk threw Billy over the ropes through a table, before pinning Horace for the
1-2-3. Hulk teased punching Torrie after the match, but kissed her instead. Wilson fell to
the mat with a big smile on her face, obviously enjoying the smooch from The Hulkster.
Outside, The Total Package asked a building security guard where the nearest gym was.
As the WCW camera crew followed Package to a local gym, Lex told everyone to leave. As The Main Event Chuck Palumbo did a set on the bench press, Luger stepped in as his spotter before attacking him. He beat Palumbo around the gym, including clocking him over the head with a 40-pound plate.
Outside, Ralphus and Norman Smiley sold bootleg F.U.N.B. shirts in the parking lot.
WCW Hardcore Title Match
Terry Funk d. The Cat
The Cat talked smack on the hardcore legend, as Funk walked from the ring and punched
Miller right in the head. Soon, they took the fight behind the curtain to the backstage
area. Trashcans, soda cans and popcorn bags were just a few of the items that were used in
the brawl. Outside in the street, The Cat hit Funk with a rake as the two headed for
Norman and Ralphus' car. Funk smashed in the windows, with Smiley desperately tried to
save the tee shirts as they were scattering around the lot. The Cat pushed Norman against
the fence, prompting the former champion to take a chair over Miller's back. Funk pinned
Cat in the trunk of the car to retain the Hardcore Title.
Mike Awesome was shown carrying a stretcher to the ring.
Outside, Ralphus and Smiley were arrested for indecent exposure.
Ambulance Match
Scott Steiner with Midajah and Shikira d. Mike Awesome
Awesome said that since he already put Kanyon out of wrestling, he would do the same to
DDP at the Great American Bash in an Ambulance Match. He challenged anyone to come to the
ring and face him. Big Poppa Pump came to the stage and said that the only faction he was
a part of was the one with his freaks nation wide. The match got underway fast, with
Steiner delivering a huge belly to belly suplex. Midajah and Shikira looked concerned on
the ramp as Awesome took over, showing his power on Big Poppa. As Steiner slapped on the
Steiner Recliner, Goldberg's music played, but it was actually Tank Abbott mimicking the
former champion again. Scott jumped Abbott on the stage, but Rick Steiner and Awesome
joined in the fight, making it three-on-one. The Goldberg monster truck drove into the
arena, distracting Rick and Tank enough for Scott to fight back and throw them onto the
hood. The truck drove away with Rick and Abbott still aboard, giving Awesome a chance to
retreat by going into the Ambulance, thus making Big Poppa Pump the winner.
Backstage, Shane tried again to get the New Blood to rally together.
Interview: Kanyon
In a pre-taped segment, Mike Tenay interviewed Chris Kanyon from his hospital bed. Kanyon
said he was physically weak and emotionally worse. He still wants to wrestle, but first
has to concentrate on walking again. Kanyon stated that after all Page had been through,
throughout the match and in his personal life, he owed it to him to save him up on the
cage. Tenay brought up that Page is walking today while Chris is in a hospital bed.
Kanyon, after all he had been through, was still worried about DDP getting himself in too
deep.
Backstage, Kronic called Shane on his cell phone, challenging him to a three-way dance. Douglas said he had the New Blood to watch his back, but they all walked out the door, leaving him alone.
Backstage, Kronic attacked The Franchise in the dressing room.
Three-Way Dance
Brian Clark d. Brian Adams and The Franchise Shane Douglas
Clark and Adams brought Douglas to the ring, continuing the beating they started in the
back. Clark drove The Franchise to the canvas with a pump handle powerslam. As Shane was
thrown over the ropes, he grabbed the tag team belts and headed down the ramp. The Wall
appeared and put Douglas through a table. Back inside, Kronic delivered their patented
double slam on Shane for the win.
Interview: Ric Flair
The fans chanted "15 times" to Flair as he stood in the ring, once again the
king of WCW. The Nature Boy said he respected Jarrett, stating he was from the old school.
Flair said that Vince Russo grew up with his parents wanting him to be like Bruno
Sammartino, but "little skinny Vinnie" wanted to be the Nature Boy. Jeff
Jarrett's music hit the sound system and The Chosen One came down the ramp for a fight. As
Crowbar, David and Daffney joined in the ruckus, Arn Anderson made the save for his
long-time friend, Ric Flair. Arn told Jarrett, Crowbar, Daffney and David that in 10
minutes, they were going to be taken to task, Horsemen style.
Backstage, Vampiro told Sting he was going to take him to hell, as he set a Stinger mask on fire.
Interview: Sting
Sting told Vampiro he was real close to snapping and that he said he was going to take him
out on him in Louisiana. Vampiro came out and told "Steve" that he didn't finish
Vamp off on Monday because some part of Sting liked him. The dark angel said that at the
Great American Bash, the two would wrestle in an Inferno Match. Sting said no, but Vamp
stated that he had no choice as the ring ropes suddenly caught on fire.
Ric Flair and Arn Anderson d. Jeff Jarrett and David Flair and
Crowbar and Daffney
Flair came to the ring, but on the screen, David, Crowbar and Daffney attacked Anderson in
the back. Jarrett jumped the Nature Boy on the ramp, but he fought back, laying in some of
his famous chops. This comeback would not last long however, as David and Crowbar ran in,
making it three-on-one. Kevin Nash made the save as Flair got the pin on Daffney. Nash
took a chair shot, but was unaffected and chased Jarrett to the back. In the ring, the WCW
Champion staggered, collapsing on the ramp.
Outside, Douglas waived Jarrett onto the bus. As they prepared to drive away, The Millionaires' Club grabbed the side of the bus and tipped it on its side. The Goldberg truck raged toward the bus as Thunder went off the air.
* WCW´s ledning har bett Ric Flair att gå i pension. Flair är helt
enkelt för gammal tycker de. Ric har blivit lovad en returmatch mot Shane Douglas som
Flair skulle få vinna men det kommer att bli Ric mot David Flair på Great American Bash
där Ric förlorar och går i pension. Nä, det är så att Flair skall operera ena axel
efter GAB så för att förklara hans tre månaders bortavaro så får han gå en
förloraren går i "pension" match mot sin son.
* Vampiro, Norman Smiley, och Evan Karagias har alla skrivit nya kontrakt med WCW. I
kontrakten finns det en klausul som garanterar dem $500 för varje house show de är med
på.
* Scott Hall kommer att göra comeback om ca två månader.
* Dustin Rhodes (Runnels) (Goldust) nästa gimmick kommer att bli nåt liknande han hade i
WWF med Goldust gimmicken, och han kommer att kalla sig för Platinum.
* WCW´s augusti PPV kommer förmodligen att döpas till New Blood Live.
* Juvi Guerrera som först körde rattfull och sen smet från polisen kommer inte att
pushas i WCW längre, eftersom han riskerar att bli utvisad från staterna! Dessutom går
rykten att han kommer att skriva på ett treårs kontrakt med WWF så fort hans ettåriga
WCW kontrakt går ut.
* Ricki Lake hade häromdagen en "Meet your favorite celebrity day". En kille
ville träffa Scott Steiner, men fick först möta Vampiro som hade grabben i en
chokehold. Sen kom Scott in tillsammans med nWo girls och grabben blev helt galen när han
såg honom. Han fick följa med på en inspelning av Nitro där han under galan fick vara
med Nitro girls. Han sa att han njöt av varenda ögonblick.
* Här kommer förklaringen till att Torrie Wilson varit borta ett tag från WCW: Hon har
ännu en gång vart inne på gummiverkstaden. - Aha, dags för
sommardäck?
* David Flair och Crowbar var i Canada för att skriva autografer höromdagen. Mitt under
sessionen kom det fram ett WWF fan och sa ungefär så här: "WCW sucks", varvid
David slängde en mugg med vatten i ansiktet på killen. Ganska oproffsigt men är man son
till den smutsigaste spelaren i spelet så kan man väl vara förlåten tyckar jag.
* Ric Flair föll ihop i ringen under inspelningen av Thunder. Han började ta sig för
bröstet och ramlade sen ihop, och när läkarna kollade honom låg hans blodtryck på
180/120 vilket är MYCKET över det normala. Flair har råkat ut för nåt liknande
tidigare och då skyllde de på att han hade nåt problem med innerörat.
* Nu är det officiellt. Lance Storm går till WCW, och han har skrivit på för tre år.
* Buff Bagwell kommer att bli avstängd i 30 dagar från WCW för att han
slog till en WCW arbetare backstage häromveckan.
* Lodi kommer snart att byta sitt wrestlingnamn till sitt riktiga namn, som är Brad Cain.
* Många brottare i WCW brottas nu fastän de inte är helt läkta. Rey Mysterio, Hogan,
Ric Flair, Horace Hogan, Kevin Nash, Konnan och Juventud brottas nu trots att de inte är
helt friska från sina skador. Kan det ha blivit så att vissa
brottarna faktiskt offrar sig lite för förbundet nu? -
Eller kan det vara så att de har räkningar att pröjsa?
* Mike Awesome har fått en del heat backstage för att han skadat en del
brottare. Det började med att han var lite för hård mot Booker, sen powerbombade han
Kanyon på huvudet, och till sist utförde han ett grepp felaktigt på DDP så att han
skadade sig lite.
Men ingen i WCW's ledning har gjort något åt detta för de tycker han är en trevlig
snubbe, och han kommer bra överens med de flesta brottarna i WCW.
* David Flair har allvarliga planer på att bli en fulltids, heltränad proffesionell brottare som sin fader. Sådan far sådan son.

* Hardcore Heaven 2000
Masato Tanaka pinned Balls Mahoney at 9:15
They worked traditional style early with some armdrags and armbars. At 2:20 Balls caught
Tanaka as he flew over the top rope toward him, and then turned and rammed him into the
railing. At 3:30 Tanaka rammed Balls with a chair. Balls then reversed Tanaka onto the
rampway. They had dueling chairs in the ring at 4:30. Balls flattened Tanaka with three
ultra-stiff chairshots and only got a two count. Tanaka began rising to his feet shortly
thereafter with a chair. Balls kicked the chair into Tanaka's face. Tanaka kicked out of a
convincing nearfall. At 6:15 Tanaka reversed a Nut Cracker and DDT'd Balls onto a pile of
chairs in mid-ring. Balls then gave Tanaka the Nutcracker for a near fall. Tanaka came
back with a flip DDT off the top rope. Balls hit a Nutcracker onto a chair in the ring.
Tanaka kicked out. The crowd gave the wrestlers a stand ovation. Tanaka surprised Balls
with a Roaring Elbow for another good near fall. Tanaka went to the top rope with a chair
and came down onto Balls with a chairshot. Balls no-sold it, but was "on rubber leg
street." Tanaka hit another roaring elbow and scored the pin. They might have
incurred a few more concussions, but the execution, psychology, and drama was strong.
Big Sal Graziano & Little Guido beat Mikey Whipwreck
(w/Sinister Minister) & Simon Diamond (w/The Musketeer, Tom Marquez) at 7:15
At 3:00 the lights went out. The crowd chanted, "You f---ed up." Since the
lights weren't supposed to go out, he didn't even talk about it. Big Sal was eliminated
first followed by Diamond a couple of minutes later. At 5:45 it came down to Mikey vs.
Guido. Mikey threw fire in the face of Big Sal, but Guido then finished off Mikey for the
three count. A clustermess of a match most of the time.
Kash pinned C.W. Anderson at 5:57
Good action. Kash finished off Anderson with a top rope huracanrana of sorts.
Backstage Bill Alfonso gave a pep talk to Rob Van Dam in the locker room.
Styles explained why he and Gertner walked out of the ring without explanation at the start of the night. He said the cameras missed it, but out of the corner of his eyes he saw Tommy Dreamer enter the arena all bloodied. He apologized for the cameras missing the shot of Dreamer collapsing.
Super Nova & Chris Chetti beat The Baldies and Danny Doring
& Roadkill at 6:32
At 4:15 Doring & Roadkill were eliminated first. Roadkill leaped off the second rope
onto Grimes driving him through a table. Chetti and Nova won after a Tidal Wave onto one
of the Baldies.
New Jack pinned Angle at 9:00
The Baldies, including Grimes, attacked Chetti and Nova afterward, so New Jack came out
and attacked them. New Jack leaped off the upper deck balcony onto DeVito, crushing him
through a table on the floor. New Jack got up right away favoring his hip. Back in the
ring New Jack finished off and scored the pin on Angle to retain his moniker as king of
hardcore. A hard-to-grade random assortment of violence.
Tajiri pinned Steve Corino (w/Jack Victory) at 10:22
Before the match Corino told Tajiri they don't have to fight in front of the morons in the
crowd. He told Tajiri to come back to him or he'd kick his ass. Tajiri punched Corino and
the fight was on. Good crisp offense early by Tajiri. At 1:50 Tajiri suplexed Corino onto
the rampway. At 3:00 Tajiri hung a bleeding Corino upside down in the corner, then
slidekicked him. Great camera close-up caught the smack of the impact. The bleeding was
very heavy. Tajiri then put a chair up against Corino's face, but as Jack Victory
distracted Tajiri, Corino got up and superkicked Tajiri. Corino got a two count and
remained on offense for several minutes. Victory set up a table in the ring. Tajiri
reversed Corino's abdominal stretch into an octopus. Victory tried to interfere, but
Tajiri blew green mist at his face. Tajiri then went crazy with a rapid fire series of
kicks and punches, then put Corino on the table. Tajiri leaped off the top rope and
double-stomped Corino and scored the pin. Afterward Wing Kanemura, Corino, and Victory
beat up Tajiri. Dusty Rhodes made the save. Good match.
"The Big F---in' Deal" Rhino pinned Sandman at 6:15 to
retain the ECW TV Title
After Sandman's long entrance through the crowd, they brawled at ringside and into the
crowd. Sandman leaped off the apron and legdropped Rhino as he was draped over the
railing. Rhino leaned Sandman against a table on the rampway. Sandman moved as Rhino
charged, so Rhino shoulder tackled the table. Sandman then piledrove Rhino on a table in
the ring for a nearfall. Steve Corino came out and helped Rhino take over offense. Rhino
then leaped off the ring apron and piledrove Laurie through a table at ringside. Her body
went limp. That was one scary looking move. Rhino threw Laurie into the ring. Corino and
Victory leaned her against a table in the corner of the ring. Sandman made the save, but
when he picked her up, Rhino gored Sandman. Rhino then scored the pin. Rhino called Laurie
a "f---in' bitch." after the match.
Jerry Lynn pinned Rob Van Dam (w/Bill Alfonso) at 19:54
Well-paced, well-executed, and innovative. At 16:32 Van Dam hit the Five-Star Frogsplash
onto a chair draped over Lynn. Van Dam sold it as much as Lynn. Victory and Corino
interfered. Van Dam easily cleared the ring of them, but Rhino then came out and gored Van
Dam. Rhino then powerbombed Van Dam. Cyrus left the commentary booth to cheer on Rhino
from ringside. Van Dam fought back and hit Rhino with a top rope sidekick. Cyrus entered
the ring and Van Dam nailed him with the Van Daminator. Lynn hit Alfonso with the Van
Daminator. Lynn picked up the chair, but Van Dam kicked it into his face. Van Dam went to
the top rope, but Scott Anton shoved him off the top rope. Van Dam took an awkward bump
off the top rope onto the rampway. Anton ripped off his Van Dam t-shirt. Lynn hit his pump
handle piledriver for a nearfall. Lynn hit another pump handle piledriver and got the
pinfall. Styles said Lynn was hell-bent on getting a one-on-one victory over Van Dam, and
that wasn't what Lynn had in mind - but he'd take it. Great match.
Justin Credible (w/Francine) pinned Lance Storm (w/Dawn Marie) at
12:28 to retain the ECW Hvt. Title
Justin taunted Dreamer over the house mic. He said if anybody other than Storm came to the
ring, he would disgrace the belt. Dreamer came out, but Paul Heyman stopped him. Heyman
said Justin had them by the balls and he talked Dreamer into returning to the back. Lance
Storm came out. He went nose to nose with Dreamer for a moment and exchanged some words
before Dreamer disappeared behind the curtain. By 2:00 Storm was bleeding. They exchanged
chops. The crowd chanted, "We Want Dreamer." At 9:00, Francine hit Storm with a
chair. Marie entered. The women rolled around in the ring. Justin gave Marie a piledriver.
Storm caned Justin from behind and gave him a piledriver, then went for the cover. Styles
said, "We've got a new champion," guaranteeing a kick out. Justin reversed Storm
into That's Incredible and Storm kicked out. Both wrestlers were worn out and struggled to
their feet. The crowd was worn out and silent. Justin came back with a tombstone
piledriver and pinned Storm clean. Anti-climactic finish. As Styles began thanking fans
for watching, Dreamer came in through the crowd and caned Justin. He called Francine a
c––t and threatened to cane her. Francine sweet talked Dreamer and handed him
the ECW belt. Dreamer then gave her the Spicolli Driver and celebrated center ring. Fans
chanted "ECW" briefly as the show went off the air.
* ECW har frågat King Kong Bundy om han vill skriva på ett kontrakt med dem. De vill också skriva kontrakt med Vader.
* ECW är oroade över att de galna greppen Justin Credible regelbundet tar ska leda till allavarliga skador. Justin har tidigare haft många hjärnskakningar och en till skulle vara hota hans karriär som professionell brottare.

* Raw hade 6,2 % av alla kabel-TV tittare förra veckan medan Nitro hade 2,8%. Denna vecka ser siffrorna ännu bättre ut för WCW. RAW hade 6,2 % och Nitro hade 3,2 %.

Varför har Steve Austin badbyxor på sig när han brottas?
Varför inte? Nej, allvarligt talat kan nog bara han själv svara på den frågan, men jag misstänker att han har kört med det hela sin karriär, och har vant sig vid det. - Men eftersom hans stil är att vara stentuff, tycker jag det är konstigt att han inte kommer in med jeans och nån nån T-shirt med nån häftig text på, som Tommy Dreamer i ECW. (Eller som Brooklyn Brawler.) När vi ändå är inne på kläder så gillar jag Grand Master Sexays kläder.
Förklara det som hände mellan Bret Hart och HBK och Vince på SS97. Har aldrig fattat det?
Detta är den frågan jag bävade för mest. Inte för att jag inte kan svaret, eller känner att den är allmänbildande, utan för att det ligger så mycket bakom, så jag egentligen skulle behöva en hel kolumn på mig att skriva ner det. (Hm, ska tänka på det.) - Men jag tänker ge en lite kortfattad förklaring.

1996 skrev Bret Hart på ett 20-årskontrakt med WWF, men 1997 var förbundets ekonomi i botten, och Vince McMahon hade två val; antingen sparka en bra betald brottare, eller gå i konkurs. Vincent valde alernativ #1, och det var Bret Hart (den högst betalde) brottaren som skulle få gå, och förbundets toppbrottare skulle vara Shawn Michaels. (YES!!!) (Allt handlade inte om pengar, utan Bret blev sur på två saker; dels att han fick bli heel, något som han egentligen aldrig ville, och #2 var att då han äntligen lovat att bli heel, visade det sig att Shawn också bytte sida till heel, så Bret blev inte förbundets toppheel, som först bestämdes.)
Bret Hart skrev på för Turnerland, och det blev bestämt att han skulle gå till WCW i november 1997, nån vecka efter Survivor Series ´97. Eftersom Hart var WWF World Champ vid tidpunkten, skulle han vara med på galan, och eftersom Shawn var förbundets näst största brottare, var det självklart att de skulle mötas. (WWF hade bara tre maineventers vid den här tidpunkten; Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels & Undertaker, och Bret hade mött Undertaker på ett par galor precis innan, så Shawn var det naturliga valet.)
Survivor Series ´97 - Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels. - Så långt var allt klart, men två saker fattades; Vem ska vinna? Och hur? (Det ska tilläggas att Bret Hart och Shawn Michaels har varit mer eller mindre ovänner sen 1993.)
Vince McMaon - ville att Bret skulle förlora WWF bältet så fort som möjligt, så han inte tar med sig bältet till WCW, och slänger det i Sverkers soptunna, precis som Madusa gjorde 1996. Han ville inte att "hans" världsmästare skulle byta förbund innan bältet bytte ägare.
Bret Hart - kunde tänka sig att förlora bältet, men inte på Survivor Series ´97, som gick i Canada, Hartfamiljens hemland. Bret sa, att han kunde tänka sig att göra bältet vacant dagen efter på RAW, eller förlora bältet i en match, men bara han slapp göra det på Survivor Series! Han kom med förslaget att han skulle vinna över Shawn Michaels på Survivor Series, och förlora mot honom dagen efter på RAW, och således förlora bältet på ett värdigt sätt, på bortaplan.
Shawn Michaels - sa rent ut: "Jag vägrar förlora mot Bret Hart!" Fastän Bret var man nog att säga att han kunde tänka sig att förlora bältet, mitt i ringen, till sin ärkefiende, vägrade Shawn förlora mot Bret. (Han var kanske rädd för samma scenario som McMahon hade; att Bret hade spöat Shawn, men stuckit till WCW innan returmatchen, och slängt bältet i soptunnan - vilket både McMahon och Shawn skulle förlora på.).
Bret blev mer eller mindre lovad att få behålla bältet på Survivor Series. (Han fick även Earl Hebner (domaren) att svära på att det inte var nåt fuffens på gång, och Hebner skulle inte avsluta matchen, på nåt annat sätt, än vad som bestämdes.) - Hart snackade med Vader och Bulldog, som sa att han inte skulle låta sig bli intrasslad i submissiongrepp, eftersom det skulle kunna göra att det som hände, händer.
Matchdag: Bret och Shawn diskuterar kvällens match (ryktet att de skulle ha poliseskort och vakter för att inte komma åt varandra innan matchen var som sagt....bara rykten.) på ett professionellt sätt. Medan de funderar ut sina spots (nyckelhändelser i matchen) kommer Pat Patterson in, och berättar vad som var bestämt i matchen; i början skulle de slåss "som vanligt" och i virrvarret släcka Patterson. Domaren skulle också släckas, och då skulle HBK få in en Sharpshooter på Bret, och Bret skulle vända greppet till sin fördel, men domaren skulle fortfarande vara släckt, så han inte skulle kunna se om Shawn gav upp. När Bret fattar att domare fortfarande är släckt, kommer han att resa sig upp och gå för att väcka upp honom, men så fort Bret vände sig om mot Shawn, skulle han få en Sweet Chin Music. Bret skulle vara nere för räkning, och en andredomare, Mike Ciota, skulle komma in och börja räkna ut Bret. Då skulle British Bulldog, Jim Neidhart och Owen Hart komma inspringandes, och slita ut domaren. - Sen skulle matchen fortsätta en liten stund till, med diverse rollups, innan matchen avslutades på diskvalifikation när resten av Hartfoudation kom in. Men det som oroade Bret var att Shawn mycket väl skulle kunna ge honom en suckerpunch, det vill säga ett slag "på riktigt", som skulle tvinga Bret Hart att dels göra en mycket sämre sistamatch, och dels se väldigt dålig ut.
Matchen (del 1): Matchen började som planerat med en massa ruffing ´n buffing (kom på ordet precis) det vill säga stök utanför ringen. Och precis som planerades däckades Patterson, och Hart och McMahon skrek på varandra - precis som planerat. - Bruce Pritchard (Brother Love) var regissör i matchen (via mikrofon och hörlurar), och åtta minuter innan matchen skulle avslutas, beordrade han fler funktionärer att komma till ringen. Varför?
Matchen (del 2): Bret var på repet, och kom ner med nån form av armbåge, och precis som planerat slet Shawn fram Hebner, som åkte på armbågen. Shawn satte Bret i en Sharpshooter. Mike Ciota (andredomaren) hörde i sina hörlurar, precis som Hebner (som nu låg avsvimmad). Bruce Pritchard sa nåt i mikrofonen (som var kopplad bland annat till Ciotas och Hebners respektive hörlurar) och Hebner reste sig upp fort som f-n. - Ciota började skrika att det inte var dags för honom att vakna upp än! Owen, Bulldog och Neidhart stod och gjorde sig redo för att komma in till ringen, och de blev lika förvånade som Ciota! Pritchard var lika förvånad han, och skrek att detta var minsann inte det de planerade.
Bret, som inte förstod att nåt var fel, låg i en halv-Sharpshooter (på sidan ni vet, innan man ligger på mage) och Shawn satte sig ner, och höll i Brets ben allt han kunde, innan Hebner reste sig upp med blixtens hastighet, och sa åt dem att ringa i klockan. Matchen var över - Shawn Michaels har vunnit över Bret Hart på submission! Precis när Bret reverserade greppet, ringdes det i klockan, och efter några sekunder fattade Bret vad som hade hänt, så han släppte Shawn ur greppet.
Hebner sprang ut, genom omklädningsrummet och ut till en väntande bil, som snabbt körde honom till hotellet, och därefter fick han en flygbiljett hem. Han skulle egentligen jobba två RAW:s till, men tog ut semester i sista sekunden...=)
Bret, som fortfarande var i ringen, såg på Vince McMahon, sa något, och spottade honom rakt i ansiktet. Kameran bytte blixtsnabbt rikting mot Shawn Michaels, som var på väg ut från ringside.
Matchen (del 3): Efter matchen gick Vince ut från ringside, och in på sitt privata kontor, där han låste in sig. Bret började förstöra saker vid ringside, såsom tv-monitorer. Owen, Bulldog och Neidhart kom till ringen, och lugnade Bret. Han lugnade sig, och tackade fansen med sitt tecken. (Lillfinger och pekfinger rakt upp, resten av fingrarna ner.)
Bret gick ut och skulle duscha och byta om. Shawn hade samma omklädningsrum, så de började naturligtvis snacka om matchen. Shawn sa att han inte visste om vad som skulle hända, och att han kände sig äcklad över att vinna bältet på ett sådant sätt, och för att bevisa sin oskuld och förakt, skulle han inte ta med bältet till RAW nästa dag, och inte heller nämna Bret Harts namn.
Det var inte bara Bret som var sur på Vince, utan nästan varenda WWF brottare hyste agg mot Vince, bland annat Undertaker, som krävde att Vince skulle be som ursäkt. - Vince kände att han nog skulle göra det, för förbundets bästa, så han gick in till Harts omklädningsrum. (Vince hade sällskap av Brisco, Shane McMahon och Sgt Slaughter.) - Vince bad om ursäkt, och förklarade sina handlingar med att han var tvungen att göra det han gjorde, eftersom han var rädd att Hart skulle ta med sig bältet till WCW. Bret svarade med att han inte hade något emot att förlora bältet, och sa att om Vince var kvar när han kom ut ur duschen, skulle han ge honom stryk. - Hart kom ur duschen, men Vince var fortfarande kvar, så Bret gav honom två varningar till, men Vince ville inte ge sig av. - Bret blev mer och mer sur, och det slutade med att de handgripligen började slåss, och när de andra försökte dra isär Vince och Bret, passade Bret på att ge Vince en smäll på käften. Shane hoppade på Hart, och Bulldog hoppade då på Shane, och drog bort honom. - Vince kom på fötter, och sa åt Shane och Brisco att de skulle slänga ut Bret. (Lätt för honom att säga.) - Senare "förhördes" både Hebner, Shawn Michales, Patterson och Brisco om de visste vad som skulle ske, men de svarade att de inte hade en aning. Än idag vet man inte säkert vem som visste vad.
Saker du kanske inte lägger märke till på Survivor Series ´97:
(Ej kronologisk ordning.)
- Earl Hebner är väldigt snabbt uppe efter sin "smäll". Ofta brukar ju domare ligga avsvimmade några minuter innan de kommer på fötter igen.
- När Vince högt och tydligt skriker "RING THE BELL!!! RING THE FUCKING BELL!!!" Detta var två månader innan han började vara med i vinklar och upplägg i WWF - och vid den här tiden var han alltså "bara" kommentator.
- Så fort klockan ringer, hörs Shawn Michaels musik. Timingen var perfekt, så han som sköter musiken måste ha vetat att matchen skulle sluta tidigare - I och med att matchen slutade fem minuter tidigare än planerat.
- Så fort matchen är slut, får Shawn bältet av Brisco, och man ser tydligt hur Brisco föser ut Shawn så fort han kan. Annars brukar main event sluta med att vinnaren står och firar en stund i ringen.
- Varför fanns det massor (och åter massor) av funktionärer? De bokstavligen fyllde ringside.
Ja, och till sist tänkte jag komma med min personliga åsikt:
- Om man nu tvunget måste skylla på nån, som måste det i det här fallet vara Shawn Michaels. Hade han gått med på att förlora mot Hart, hade detta antagligen aldrig hänt. Men man kan ju skylla på Vince också, vilket 99% av folket gör. Det var ju mycket hans fel, men som sagt, hade HBK velat förlora mot Hart, hade klimatet dem emellan varit bättre. Antagligen.

Jag och min extremt musik kunniga brorsa har lite olika synpunkter om vet som gjort DX musik. Så jag undrar om du kan reda ut vem som gjort den, min bror tror att det är Rage Against The Machine.Han säger att det absolut inte behöver vara Rage Against The Machine men om det inte är dem så har dem blivit inspererad av Rage Against The Machine. Så min fråga lyder alltså vilka har gjort DXs musik?
Du har rätt i att det låter som Rage Against the Machine, men det är faktiskt inte de som har gjort låten. "Chris Warren and the DX Band" är de som är skyldiga till DX´s musik. Och det förekommer rykten (bland annat i WWF) där de påstår att sångaren är HHH:s bror. Detta är dock inte sant, eftersom HHH har sagt i flera intervjuer att han bara har en syster.
Men i vilket fall som helst kan ni se bandet framföra DX låten både på Wrestlemania 14 och Summerslam ´98.

Till den här veckan kände jag att jag inte hade nån fantasi, så jag tänkte hänga på Pagges kolumn, men istället för att presentera den officiella (som Pagge redan har gjort) tänker jag presentera mina egna åsikter (som vanligt) i samma kategorier. För att göra det lätt för mig (eller svårt?) tänker jag använda samma brottare som World of Wrestling hade. Men naturligtvis ändrar jag ordningen, så mina åsikter kommer fram. (Vilket är meningen med våra hörnor i TASS.) OBServera att jag antar att utmärkelserna gäller för 1999!

- Inte mycket att orda om. Tyvärr (?) kör The Rock med samma ordfraser hela tiden, men

på senare tid, men ändå. Rican Flair har jag inte hört så mycket av, så han hamnar
sist, och Jericho är på topp, men slår ändå inte The Rock.

- Ni som känner mig vet att jag gillar Jerry Lynn skarpt - eftersom han är en helvetes

brottning (eller hur atletisk man är, om man ska vara petig.). Rey kommer tvåa av
naturliga skäl, och tyvärr måste jag sätta Booker T sist. Det fanns liksom ingen annan
plats över. =)

- Nu undrar säkert varför jag inte satte Hardyz upp som nummer ett, men det beror på
att de är väldigt bra "spots" brottare, men tyvärr händer det för lite
mellan greppen. Rey har gått massor av bra matcher, och man får alltid se fart och
fläng när han är i farten, och Billy Kidman är också en mycket bra brottare.
BEST ENTRANCE THEME

- Jag säger som Pagge, att Goldbergs låt verkligen inte är nummer ett. I alla fall inte
i mina öron. Austins börjar jag tröttna på, men den är bäst av dessa tre. Rob Van
Dam kom tvåa, eftersom jag ville vara snäll mot Pagge. =) Nej, allvarligt talat är den
bra mycket bättre än Goldbergs. (Mamma gillar dock Goldbergs.)
BEST GIMMICK

- Kane vinner den här kategorin utan tvekan, eftersom det var näst intill en milstolpe i
wrestlingvärlden. Outsiders är väl ingen direkt gimmick, utan mer två personligeheter,
och har verkligen Al Snow en gimmick? Som vad? Att han är galen? Att springa runt med ett
människohuvud (dockhuvud, jag vet) är väl ingen direkt länk till nån film eller
företeelse?
MOST EXCITING WRESTLER
1. The Rock (1)
2. Super Crazy (3)
3. Mankind (2)
- Här måste jag tyvärr sätta Foley sist. Anledningen är, att förutom sina MEGA
matcher han har haft (HIAC etc) gör han faktiskt inte så roliga matcher. Nu känner jag
på mig att en massa kritik kommer ösandes över mig, men ärligt talat; vad har Foley i
brottningsväg än sina gigantiska bumps? (Som i och för sig är OTROLIGA!) - I en vanlig
match är han ganska tråkig, tyvärr. Men detta är egentligen inte något negativt,
eftersom alla har sina specialmatcher de är bra på. Shawn Michaels är bra på att spela
skräckslagen och skömbrottas, Bret Hart är en bra tekniker, The Rock är en bra
underhållare, HHH är en mycket bra brawler, Jerry Lynn kan flyga som ingen annan etc etc
etc etc. Alla är ju inte bra på samma sak eller hur? - Och jag är ledsen att behöva
sätta Foley sist, men att hans bok var fantastiskt och hans bumps är otroliga gör inte
honom till Gud i en "vanlig" match. - The Rock lider lite av samma åkomma; han
kan nästan bara brottas sin egen stil, det vill säga sina fyra grepp han kör i varenda
match, men han är ändå en mycket underhållande brottare rakt igenom. - Super Crazy
gick några bra matcher på en japan (i ECW) förra året. (Han gick säkert fler, men jag
såg bara fyra fem stycken.)
BEST ANNOUNCER

- Jimpa Ross är en kommentator som verkligen kan pusha en brottare enbart genom att
snacka. Joey Styles lever sig verkligen in i matcherna, och Jerry Lawler är en fenomelan
underhållare - just det, UNDERHÅLLARE - men han för inga matcher/fejder/brottare
framåt, som deandra. Tyvärr, men han är överlägset roligast.
BEST HEEL
1. Vince McMahon (1)
2. The Undertaker (3)
3. Chris Jericho (2)
- Vince McMahon tar förstaplatsen utan att jag behöver titta på de andra
nomineringarna. Hans fejd mot Austin var otrolig, och jag sätter Vince McMahon som den
näst bästa heel genom tiderna. (Efter Randy Savage, i WWF.) - Jericho (har nästan bara
sett hans WWF matcher från 1999) är väldigt omtyckt, och då har man inte samma spel
med publiken som om man vore hatad. Tyvärr, men visst är han en bra heel, men tyvärr
(?) är han omtyckt. Hm, lät lite konstigt det där. - Undertaker tar därför
andraplatsen, eftersom jag tycker att hela idén med Ministry of Darkness var hur bra som
helst, om man räknar bort missödet på Wrestlemania 15 (Undertaker vs. Bossman).
BEST FACE

- Detta är nog den svåraste kategorin. Hur bedömer man dem? Efter högsta pop? Mest
tröjor sålda? Högst betald? Högst pushad? Men som ni ser lyckades jag välja, och jag
valde efter den jag personligen tycker passar bäst som face här. The Rock är ingen
riktig face (som om de andra vore det) men The Rock har karisma, vilket han visade när
han var heel. Tyvärr bytte han sida..... Austin vs. McMahon, inget mer att tillägga, och
Goldberg hamnade liksom i mitten för det fanns ingen annan plat kvar för honom. Nä,
skämt åsido, så har hans fejd mot nWo varit en ljuspunkt i WCW. Det gick i alla fall
snabbt...=)
BEST SIGNATURE MOVE

- HHH:s Pedigree är utan tvekan bäst, eftersom den är så kraftfull, och till 99% är
matchen över efter det greppet. Mankinds Socka kommer sist eftersom jag aldrig har gillat
den - mest för att det ser barnsligt ut med en strumpa i näven när man brottas. Detta
är också det mina "icke wrestlingfrälsta" kompisar ofta poängterar.
BEST MANAGER

- Här finns det egentligen ingen vinnare - utan bara förlorare. Terri och Francine är
inga direkt bra managers, eftersom de gör inte så mycket. (Tacka vet jag Jimpa Kårvett
och Arn Anderson - de spöar skiten ur sin brottares motståndare.) - Alfonso borde
investera i en ny tandborste och kanske en ny vissla - hundvisselpipa, så man slipper
höra det evinnerliga ljudet i varenda Sabu eller Rob Van Dam match.
BEST CAREER MOVE
1. Chris Jericho to WWF (1)
2. Vince Russo to WCW (2)
3. Raven to ECW (3)
- Y2J gjorde alldeles rätt i att komma till Titan, och Russo gjorde rätt när han
började jobba för WCW - det fanns ju i ärlighetens namn inte mycket kvar för
honom att göra i WWF. - När det gäller Raven, så har jag inte sett honom sen sin
comeback, men det verkar gå bra för honom.
BEST FEMALE WRESTLER

1/2/3. Ivory (3)
- Vad nu då? Som ni kanske såg, hade jag inga åsikter om detta, eftersom jag har aldrig
sett Mona brottas (Who dat?) och det var länge sen jag såg Madusa, och Ivory har inte
direkt imponerat, så jag väljer att inte vädra mina åsikter i det här ämnet.

- Inget snack om förstaplatsen! men Sabu har tyvärr slappat till sig på senare år. Han

mer. Men det förstår jag - jag hade dött bara jag hade funderat på att göra vad han
gör i ringen. - Ballen Mahoney är häftig, och kan ta stryk. Han verkar inte gilla det -
men han verkar inte gnälla.

- Benoit är bra. Mycket bra. Bret Hart är mindre bra, om man jämför med Benoit, och
