One of Two
November 30,1999
Alone she ponders the outcome of the decisions of
her past,
And alone she wonders is this Happiness meant to
last.
The wind picks up and tells her what she knows is
true,
My child you are never alone you are always one
of two.
Calmness surrenders from within her chest,
And then she sees that all life is blessed.
It is always the things that we never see,
That challenge our world…our reality.
It is the warm wind on a cool winter’s day.
Or the thought of one we love that takes the chill
away.
It is three words and a kiss that two lovers share
Followed by emotions that say I DO CARE.
With that the wind began to whither and wane.
The clouds opened and brought forth the rain
The raindrops did descend, gentle, pure and free…
She pulled her hair back and thought of things to
be.
