WU TANG CLAN.

I just finished watching a move from the Wu Tang Collection II. It didn't have anything to do with Wu Tang however, but Shaolin. It didn't matter one bit. the beginning was a tad chopped up but it sure got better.

Shaolin Temple is destroyed by the Ching Governer. All practice of Kung Fu has been outlawed. an ex-shaolin monk has switched sides and is now a top fighter for the governer. He beats up everybody pretty good, but doesn't kill them. you find out later that he wants to keep everybody alive and tortue them in jail. He has a plan. He says he wants to break them and make them join the Ching Army. Not! The tortue is really a complex and hidden way to train and toughen up the prisoners. Our anti hero does wind up killing some of his old comrades. One to keep from being found out, another for actuallly breaking and wanting to join the Chings,  and the other because the Governer was getting hip (catching on). The Kung Fu in this is outstanding! the end fight between the Governer and the Chinese Benedict Arnold was one of the best I've ever seen. Ole Benedict used more forms than i've seen in a long time. he ultimately spanks the Gov's ass using Shaolin Fan Fist. While the Gov is getting his ass waxed, our prisoners break free and put some serious hurt on the guards. The Gov's hench men get taught that what goes around comes around. Our anti-hero is beat up pretty good, but dispite the Gov's silver pole he crushes ole boys nogg'n with Shaolin Palm Fist. Exit one bad guy. Inter one student with revenge on his mind and a pretty sharp knife. Stab.Stagger. Stagger. Stagger. Stagger. Dirt Nap time for Arnold. he dies standing up though.

I really have to say that as an old school flick, this is one of the better ones. the plot was damn good. the action was really, really good. Arnold was one cool dude. when he decided to open that can of Whoop Ass, they stayed whooped!

Rewatchability: Ya damn skippy!

Rewindability: Nothing really stood out. just one solid performance over all.

Quotabilty: Ya betcha!

All Things Feet and Fist: 10
