Tupac Amaru Shakur was born June 16,1971 to Afeni Shakur. He was born in Brooklyn,New York under the given name Lesane Parish Crooks.Pac attended the High School of Performing Arts in Baltimore,and it was there that he wrote some of his most touching and meaningful poetry. He also studied theatre while attending, which in return helped him in his upcoming movies such as'"POETIC JUSTICE","ABOVE THE RIM","JUICE","GRIDLOCKED","BULLET",and,"GANG- RELATED".

But the name,"Tupac" meant more than just a few movies.To many people across the world,it meant mentor,hero,friend, and in some cases it meant OUTLAW.But Tupac was even more then that. To me Tupac deserves his spot in the history books along with motivational speakers like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.,Maya Angelo,and John F. Kennedy.

Tupac started his rap career in the early 90's with Digital Underground.In 1991 is when he released his first solo album,which was "2pacalypse Now".That album contained some great songs , but i wouldn't classify it as his best. In 1993 he came hard with , "Strictly for My N.I.G.G.A.Z., which featured popular songs like,"I Get Around", and "Keep Ya Head Up".Later in that same year, Pac was shot in Manhattan, which he replied later as a missed hit.After having many serious run-ins with the law, Tupac released "Me Against The World"in 1995, which i think really came straight from his heart.The album featured songs such as "So Many Tears", and "Dear Mama".

Right after that album was released, Tupac had to serve time for sexual assault, that suposedly took place in some night club.Soon after that, Pac found a friend in Deathrow CEO, Suge Knight.He posted a 1 million dollar cash bond,to get the talented musician out of jail, in return for him to join his family of already talented rap singers. Pacs first album under Deathrow,"ALL EYEZ ON ME" sold over 11 million copies and is still selling today.

After about 24 years of hardship in his life, it was the last year of his life that he didnt have to worry about anything.That is until the tragic night of September 7,1996,when Pac and Suge were leaving a Mike Tyson fight, they were on their way to Club 662, when a white cadillac pulled up beside them and opened fire, Pac was violently shot 5 times.He survived for 7 days and then passed away on September 13,1996.Tupac left behind a lot of unanswered questions about his death,which is causing a lot of people to believe he is sill alive.
