"Words"
The words can say so very much
Reach down and touch the heart,
They may be warm, they may be soft,
When we are far apart.
The words touch all those special spots
At least that's what I try,
Sometimes, I need to move my hand
And hold you if you cry.
Words can be hollow, insincere
I hope mine never are,
Just real emotions, feelings too
I wish upon the star.
The words I love you, said to you
Mean so much more you'll see,
And hope they keep me in your mind
And close as I can be.
The words can say so very much
And when I talk with you,
My mind is full of pleasant thoughts
Of all that we will do.
