James Taylor White

James Taylor White was the son of John White and Clara Keith White.  James was born 2-22-1833 Jackson County, Alabama and died 12-22-1910.  He is buried in Whitehall Cemetery in DeKalb County, Alabama.  He married 1st Cinthia P. Calvin 2-3-1866 and they had one son   Charlie White born 1871 & died 2-25-1953 buried Whitehall Cemetery .   Cinthia died after giving birth to son.  James married second Armina Jane Wells Keith 7-4-1879.  They had 3 children: Taylor White Jr.; Ada Anna White born 2-1-1879 & died 1969 buried Whitehall cemetery ; Rosie Belle born 2-25-1886 & died 6-10-1891 buried Whitehall Cemetery.

James served in the Company C of the 1st Ala and Tenn Vidette Cavalry.  He also served in Co I of the 4th Tenn Mounted Infanty Volunteers.
