Amazing Grace

In Loving Memory of
Angus and Mabel Catherine

You left us one morning to go be with Jesus. Thank you for having been here, for the love and smiles you gave to us all. You were always cheerful and happy, and loved everybody that came through your door. I know that you are rejoicing in heaven with the angels now, and that makes our loss a little easier to deal with.

My Maternal Grandfather died a little over a year after. He was always a strong father to his children and grandchildren. Even though he was a stern man, he was loved by all of his family and his close friends.

In loving memory of
William and Anna Belle

My Paternal Grandmother passed on in 1979 when I was still fairly young. I remember how her house seemed filled with her love and care, even though at the time I thought everything was really old, like the cuckoo clock that hung in her living room. To my young eyes, it was old, but it was well cared for. I also remember she made great chocolate pies. I used to love to hear her speak, on any subject.
My Grandfather on my dads side is still a bit of an enigma to me. Someone shot and killed him in the heat of an argument a long time ago when my dad was still a teenager.

Love and respect your grandparents, they can teach you where you've been, and can show you where you can go.

"Warm summer sun
shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind
blow softly here,
Green sod above
Lie light, Lie light,
Good night, Dear heart,
Good night, Good night."

-Robert Richardson

Thank you to Perry and Daisy King, Hannis and Dot Dees, Alton and Nora Patrick, and last, but definitely not the least, I.C. Snow.
