She was once faced with a problem and she has to make an important decision: To play in the FEU basketball varsity and make studying second-priority, or to not join it and kiss the opportunity goodbye forever. And guess what? she chose the latter. That's how dedicated Jo-anne is when it comes to studying. Second to Vincent, it's the love of her life. Actually, she has a running for at least Cum Laude!

If you think books and balls is all that she can offer... think again! Kasi, she was also once nominated to be the P.R.O. of the student council of their school. Wow! That's a real big feat. Even though she didn't get that position, the mere thing that she was nominated was already enough to prove something - that she has the leadership capabitlties.
