Just so you know...
In accordance with the newly-enacted Republic Act No. 8981, or the PRC Modernization Law, the Professional Regulation Commission announced last March 14, 2001 that it will no longer accept applications for issuance and/or renewal of licenses effective as of that date.
Except for the Section 20, RA 8981 was silent on the matter of license renewal, and subsequent discussions on the interpretation of these provisions apparently resulted in the decision by the PRC that the credit card-type of "licenses" shalll no longer be issued by the PRC and that the diploma-type "Certificate of Registration" issued at the time the professional passes the board exams shall effectively serve as the professional license also, and which need not be renewed annually.
PRC will, however, issue credit card-type "Professional License Identification Cards" which will attest that the holder is a duly registered professional, but only to those who will request or apply for it.
