Taking a quick break from the problematic chaos of the city, the PSG Group decided to take a time out and dip into the relaxing waters of Palm Springs Resort in Calamba, Laguna last April 19 and 20. But the exodus, composed of Kat, Den, Moja, Carlo, Rommie, Cielo, Bry, Roderick, Raphy, Joel, Prof, Angel, Allen, and me, had to wait some minutes and several resorts after to check out which place has the best deal. Palm Springs emerged as the best choice, with it's good amenities, relatively good pools (adding some slides would be a good idea), karaoke, nipa cottages, a good view from the rooftop, and all of these at a reasonable price.

It was also like a camp-out, we have to cook our food there, complete with ihawan and charcoal. After the eatfest (and sleepfest - angel) the karaoke is the next thing to get busy with. As always, the voices of Prof and Rommie surrounded the whole vicinity, much to the fright, I mean delight of the neighbors. (whew!)

Having such outings give time for us to have a more effective connection, way different from sending emails or texting. Iba pa rin ang nagkakausap ng magkakasama. And with a get together reunion of the whole class of ECE-B 2001, surely everyone is looking forward to this event to see each other again, greet, talk about lots of things, and of course eat!
