My bedroom was a project I was anxious to get to. It was also a hard
project...every part of it was a fight. I'm satisfied with the results...but
the process was like pulling teeth. Just one of those things that doesn't
want to come together. |

Lest you think I never clean house, I will say I took these pictures
right before I moved my stuff into the living room to begin work on this
room. I almost forgot to do before pictures. The cute kitty on the bed
is Black Eyed Pea...and the ONLY way she'll let me take her picture is
if she's asleep. |

Another interesting project that my old house friends helped me with
was this. The ceilings in this house are 12'. But my closet also has a
ceiling at about 8.5'. There was alot of perfectly good storage space going
to waste between those 2 ceilings. So I cut a hole in the wall and built
a cabinet above the closet. I REALLY needed advice with this! |

This picture was taken with a digital camera. And it's obvious I'm
a beginner user. At least the bed is made this time. |

Here's the finished cabinet project. The doors were salvage. It's a
great place to store Christmas decorations and such. |
