Cut Copy and Pasting for Webber's

OK here is the thing some are more then likely asking why someone from a computer is giving this information out to a Web person. Well I used Web at one time and I had decided to help them out as much at I could. You see when I first got my web I didn't know how to do this and no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't get it. Someone showed me and I finally understood and started to pass this information onto others that just could not catch onto it. I hope this will help you out. It also helps to stop alot of the forwards in mail. I for one do not like. Good Luck!

Ok here is how I show others to do this in chat. Way number one: Look at your keyborad There are some impotant keys to remember. Please try doing this in steps ok it will help you.

1. The key that says ( find ). What I tell others is to press this key to see what it does. If you did this right a gray file should have come up on your screen that showed (Find Word ) and a space bar beside it. In this spacebar is where you type in the first one or two even three words of the begaining sentance your wanting to copy. Now press your back button only ONE time to get back to the instructions.

2. Next is your ( return ) key after you have put the word or words into the Find word spacebar you press your return key. This will highlight the word or words you put into the find bar.

3. Next is your ( shift ) key this is important. You have to hold it down to get what your wanting to copy and keep it down untill you have what your wanting highlighted.

4. Next is the (arrows) or even you (scroll buttons) both of these guide your yellow bar where you want highlighted. Once this is done, I tell people to relese the shift key before going any farther.

5. Next there are two keys you must use one right after the other. Here once you have all your wanting to copy highlighted I tell people to turn up the volum of there TV's to see if they can hear a clicking sound once they press the two keys. Press (cmd) then the letter (c) you should hear a clicking sound if you do this right.

6. Once they have done this I tell them to go to there mail to write a letter. This is where the next keys come in. Here you will press (cmd) and the letter ( v) one time only sometimes it takes a moment for it all to show. Now try this all and send it to yourself to see if you got it right. I tell others to copy what I said in here by starting out with the first word above the word ~~> OK <~~. Try this then mail it to yourself to make sure you did it right. It might take you a few try's but don't give up. Once you have it down pat then go onto CCP2.

CCP#2

Here is your next lesson on cut copy and pasting. When you want an imgage for your pages, there are two ways to do this press (goto) on your upper row of your keyborad or press the options key on the lower part then go to the (goto) and click on it. Either one a gray file will show up, then click on (show last) your http: will show up there. next bring your yellow flashing bar ~~> | <~~ to the end of it. (sample, https://www.angelfire.com/help.gif ( | )<~your yellow bar.) now press cmd then letter (a) then cmd and letter (c) and when your ready to add it to your page press cmd then letter (v). If your getting codes for your e-mail got to where they are and do the same thing. Try this a few times before going on to CCP3.

Another way its done is to press down your shift and use your arrows to highlight it all then press the cmd then the letter (c) and then once your ready to use it press your cmd then the letter (v). This is great for when you want to send more then one letter without having a long list of names.
