Frenchy & Rockey

Both of these birds are Conures, Frenchy is the one who has the full face orange called a Sun Conure. Rocky was a lover but our dog got a hold of him and he died. I have learned allot about these bird's since having Frenchy. Almost lost him two times now. One thing is these Birds cannot handle cigarette smoke or perfumes. I also found out one food they should not eat is sunflowers it gives them yeast infections that can kill them. They are a very loving Bird and needs allot of companionship. So if you own one make sure you have the time to spend with them. I found the right feed to give these birds besides fresh vegetables , fruit and fruit juice. But this was after I almost lost Frenchy. Three type's of food, first there is Lafeber's Nuggets. Their site is at http://www.lafeber.com I use several different type's of these nuggets to give a variety. Next I use Harrison's it's a organic formula and is very good for the bird's Canary's, Parakeet's, Cockatiel's, Lovebird's, Conure's, Lory's, Quaker's and Dove's. This you can find at www.harrisonsbirdfoods.com . I use One other type of Bird food and that's Roudybush there is not a web site I could find yet. But you might be able to find it at your vet's or a bird store. Rocky was my talker I loved it. Frenchy is only capable of saying up to 25 words but with this type of bird you need to train them young to say anything.
