Happy Halloween

Okay...Stop rolling your eyes::::snicker:::::
I know the music sounds like a Christmas tune
but once you start reading you'll catch on. *S*

The second part of this page doesn't
go with the music, but I can't figure out
how to get two midi's on the site and have them play
one right after the other. LOL

All through the town floats monsters' breath,
Screams of horror, hints of death.
Down all the streets come girls and boys
All dressed up for their haunting joys.

  Boo! Boo! Boo! What will we do?
Boo! Boo! Boo! What will we do? O00
Try to enjoy this scary scene
And relax, 'cause it's Halloween!

  Witches and goblins now fill the air,
Spiders crawl across your hair!
And every place that you try to hide
Soon there's a ghostie there by your side.

  Boo! Boo! Boo! What will we do?
Boo! Boo! Boo! What will we do? Ooo
Try to enjoy this scary scene
And just relax, 'cause it's Halloween!

  There is a chill about this night
Your head starts ting-a-ling with fright.
In jack-o-lanterns' eerie glow
The vampires now start swooping low.

  Boo! Boo! Boo! What will we do?
Boo! Boo! Boo! What will we do? Ooo
Try to enjoy this scary scene
And please come back next Halloween!

  ~By Grandpa Tucker~

'Twas Halloween night
and all through the sky,
The clouds hid the moon
as the bats glided by;

I was dressed all in white
in my mama's old sheet,
Walking with friends
down the ghost-haunted street.

All the kids were dressed
in bright costumed array,
While flashlights and street lights
guided our way;

We giggled and laughed
as we hurried to each door,
Ringing or knocking,
then laughing some more.

There were pumpkins aglow
and skeletons dangling,
Scarecrows and shadows
and silver chains clanging;

Grownups in masked faces
opened doors in greeting,
As we stood with our bags
and waited for treating.

Some people say that we
should not have this night,
That too many kids are harmed
by the sights or the fright;

But it's the one time a year
when we can pretend to be
Someone else for a while,
not you ... not even me.

Let them celebrate now,
as the bats glide on by,
For childhood is brief,
like the blink of an eye;

Listen to their laughter
and let the children be
Someone else for a while ...
not you and not even me.
