On August 23, 1947, Grand Master Prof. L. L. Lockhart issued charter No. 313 to a group of brothers who would soon denote themselves as the illustrious and industrious brethren of Goodwill Masonic Lodge No. 313, Prince Hall Affiliated, Free and Accepted Masons located in Ferris, Texas. Brother Oliver Pinkard, who was the Worshipful Master of Goodwill at the time, had a total of twenty masons active in the lodge, also meaning that there were 20 original charter members. The table below shows the first offices held at Goodwill.
