Ronnie, my son (37 years old) is in need of a webtv.. I gave him my classic (which is 4 years old) and it doesn't have any memory left..:-)) He can't get into a lot of sites, not even my homepage. I have been paying for his service b/c he is on disability and draws less than $520.00 a month! This would be a blessing to him! If you want to notify him his addy is:
Jro5150@webtv.net and his name is Jeff.
Thanks & ((Hugs))

DEAR HOMEAWAY:
I AM A 73 YEAR OLD WOMAN BUT I AM NOT REQUESTING THE WEB. FOR MYSELF. I WRITE TO A VIET NAM VETERAN WHO HAS A 100% DISABILITY. HE WAS A PARAMEDIC DURING HIS TIME IN THE SERVICE OF HIS COUNTRY AS HE WAS BORN HERE.

THAT BEING SAID, HIS WEB. IS OLD N IS STARTING TO GIVE HIM TROUBLE. OF COURSE BEING ON A FIXED INCOME HE CAN'T AFFORD TO REPAIR OR BUY A NEW ONE.
I HOPE YOU CAN HELP HIM AS I FEEL IT WOULD HELP HIM N ALSO PROVE TO HIM THAT THERE STILL ARE GOOD PPL. OUT IN THIS TIME OF SADNESS THANK YOU, N GOD BLESS. KATHY

Dear Sirs~
I have a neighbor friend is trying to get into school and he has a wife and two small kids. Being a senior at a local university, I know how hard it is to maintain an education without some Internet access. I wish you would consider him to be a recipient in this matter of the free webtv you are giving away. His info..............

Thanks very much, his neighbor in 6D. I can't always let him use mine as I am on it much of the time myself.

Hello,
My name is Renee' McMilleon and I have a friend who's husband left her on good Friday. She has two girls 10 and 12. I work with Brenda at a locally owned hardware store. She is also cleaning offices three nights a week just to make ends meet. She gets no money from her soon to be Ex husband, so there isn't going to be much of a christmas for her or her girls.
I have been thinking about what I could do to make their christmas a great one and I think that a webtv would be a wonderful thing for her and her gilrs. I have told her about mine and she is really interested in seeing how it works. I can't tell you how excited she would be to receive a free one. I am just now reading this so she doesn't know anything about it as yet and I'm not going to say anything to her - just in case she doesn't receive it. I would hate to get her hopes up. You may e-mail me at the above addy for anymore info on her. Thanks,
Renee'
P.S. What a wonderful thing you are doing!

Hello,
I have a friend named Janice Nelson. She lives in Ohio. She is about 54 years old and has had cerebral palsy since she was born. She now has other complications as well, which pretty much keeps her homebound and in a wheelchair. She is fine in other ways and has so much to offer to others - she is a giver, a very loving person, and could really use this free web tv. I am sure you will have a very difficult time deciding who to give it to. Janice has a daughter who is 17 and had a cyst lodged in her brain that is inoperable - and this would be giving two struggling people a real blessing. Janice nursed her husband when he died of cancer of few year back, so she battles as a single mother to a teenager as well.
I pray you will consider this as a gift to her to make her life more complete - enabling them to both give back to others as they desire to do!

I think what you're doing is great! My niece who I take care of lives with me and we share my webtv,It would be nice if she had her own.She has cerebral palsy from the hips down and she is deaf. She has made a few deaf friends on here. This is something she can do ,she loves to hunt for things .
I've had her since my mother died 14 yrs ago.Her own mother didnt' want her because she couldn't stand to be around handicap people. So my mom took her and raised her and loved her.Now I have her and she is such a joy.I take care of her my sister who is deaf and my husband who is one of 4 people walking around without a hip.I have my hands full but I love them all dearly.Annetter just turned 35 yrs old.And if she was to receive her own web she would be so happy (me too).If she doesn't thats ok,What you're doing is wonderful! Best Regards,Nancy

This is very nice thing for you to do.. Have you thought of looking around your own neighborhood..?? I think some little old lady or gent would appreciate it.. You would even be close enough to give them a lesson or two.. There are a lot of older people that don't get out much and living their golden years all by themselves.. Just a thought...

HI~~i THINK YOU TWO ARE FABULOUS FOR WHAT YOU ARE DOING TO HELP OTHERS. WISH THERE WERE MORE PEOPLE LIKE YOU IN THE WORLD.
I BELONG TO A SUPPORT GROUP CALLED FIBRO CHAT. IT IS FOR PEOPLE WITH HEALTH PROBLEMS AND WITH THE DIEASE OF FIBROMYALGIA. SOME HARD HARD TIME TO MAKE ENDS MEET AND WITH SOME IN VERY POOR HEALTH AND OTHERS THAT WOULD LIKE TO JOIN THE SUPPORT GROUP BUT CAN'T BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE A WEBTV OR A COMPUTER. I HAVE ALREADY GAVE MY OLD CLASSIS AWAY TO A MEMBER SEVERAL YEARS AGO TO ONE OF THEM. AND I KNOW THEY WOULD APPRECIATE A EMBER TO HAVE A NOTHER ONE.
I KNOW YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN SWAMPED WITH MAIL FOR THIS. AND PROBABLY ALOT OF GOOD PEOPLE. SO WHAT EVER YOU DECIDE IS FINE WITH ME. I JUST THOUGHT I WOULD TRY TO PUT MY NAME IN FOR IT, SO WE CAN GIVE IT TO A SICK, LONELY PERSON.
IF THIS IDEA WORKS ON HOW YOUR HANDLING IT PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW IT WORKS OUT FOR YOU.
BTW YOUR FRIEND LOOKS LIKE MY BROTHER (AND THAT'S GOOD) LOL!! PLEAS TAKE CARE AND STAY IN TOUCH IF YOU CAN.

Hello, I came across this email and thought I would tell you about my friend who has become disabled due to a very bad accident from a guy who was driving drunk.....my friend is only 29yrs old and will never be the same since this happen she injured her spine ad as a result will not be able to walk normal or never at all depending on extensive rehabilitation....financially she is hurting as her insurance will not cover much...and I know that she gets very depressed and lonely because she cant get out or around...she was a very active person ...she has a 7 yr old that she has sole custody of and this is a very hard thing for my friend not to be able to be active outside the house with her daughter... this WebTv. would not only fill her days and time but help ease the pain so she wouldn't have to sit a think about it...and it would allow her to work on it with her child....so that they could do things together....Thanking you for taking the time to consider my friend for this....
Her name is Penny...she's 29 and lives in Pa. thank you again...
Sincerely,
Diane

Hi Ronnie and Ja$bo,
My mom was in a rehab home last year for a month after open heart surgery - this center also serves as a retirement home for many of our senior community members whose family cannot (perhaps will not) care for them - spending day after day there, i became aware of those who never had visitors and how much they would rely on the one computer they had to hear from a loved one - i guess even an email was better than nothing
- they would wait in line in their wheelchairs for their turn to check for mail - if i had a web or puter to donate, it would go to a home such as this where an email may be ones only source of communication - just a thought........
