This is a picture of Herman, Jennifer's 19 years old baby, mine never sit still long enough to take pictures of. They have a 6th sense and disappear when the camers comes out.
Sept. 18, 2001
With the heaviest of hearts, I sent my baby Herman to be with my brother Tom in Heaven today.
He was having problems walking, his foot seem paralysed and he just cried and sat beside his water bowl without drinking.
So, today, we had a good day. No pills, no meds, no needles. I told him I loved him and that it was over.
After that, he spent most of the day with me. Mistoff went and laid with him under the bed. I laid under the bed and rubbed his tummy.
In the car, we shared a McDonald's fish sandwich (his favorite). He
took 2 bites after not eating today.
He snuggled and rubbed my hands which he has not done for a few weeks. I believe in loving me as he had always done, he was telling me it was ok.
His vet family was kind and compassionate and he quietly went to sleep on my shoulder, as he has for almost 17 years.
I thank you all for all your help, advice, prayers and friendship.
