Welcome To My Knee

Let's begin by showing you a healthy picture, my lateral miniscus on my left knee is all intact.
Notice how all the lines are smooth and there is no loose debris.

Now, it was my medial meniscus that had a tear, notice the torn cartilage in the next picture.
And also,in the picture next to that you can see the damage to my patella (knee cap.)

So... The surgeon cuts and scrapes away the damaged material. surgery
The result is the repaired knee.
Although it may look as if it is still rough, during the healing process scar tissue forms and the knee resumes its smooth operation.
