ICR2/CART
Gil de Ferran follows Stephan Johanssen through possibly the most famous course in American racing, Laguna Seca's corkscrew.
Released in 1996 under the title Indycar Racing II, and later re-released as CART racing, this was the premier open-wheeled sim on the market, and is still considered so by some people, though others would argue that Grand Prix Legends has replaced it.
If you don't have a copy of icr2 the demo is available at
The Adrenaline Vault.
Tracks
Papyrus don't like people posting complete tracks on the internet so there are very few around, but I have found a couple.
Greene County Speedway - a conversion from Nascar racing consisting of a speedway set in a very green country environment.
Expo Park - another conversion from Nascar. This is a 0.5 mile oval which you race round in the dark.
Indianapolis - this is the track from the original Indycar Racing, converted for use on ICR2. It doesn't work on the Windows '95 version.
